for the Christmas Card club ladies .......
BUT I thought I would share some cards I made earlier.
I hope that's ok Maureen.
Maureen set us ladies the challenge to use ANGELS on our cards this time.

The card above is a LOTV image and Nitwits papers.
I do love these images and papers !!!

This card is a LOTV image again, papers are from a paper CD
sorry I cant recall which one now ..........

Hope you have a great Sunday, we are going to do
a traditional Sunday Dinner as we have our German Exchange girl visiting !!

Red, White and Blue

Its time for a new challenge over at The Stamping Boutique !
The theme this week is .........
RED WHITE AND BLUE !!
pop on over and join the fun by clicking on the pic below.

The Stamping Boutique

For my card I used the digi stamp Patriotic Audrey
The paper I have had for years ........
I bought it in Hobby Lobby about 6 years ago !
It was one of the those single sheets not in a book
and now I've cut it up I don't know who it was by !! Sorry !
I used a Marianne die for the swirl, Martha Stewart punch
for the leaves and heart border.

I loved 4th July when I lived over in the USA.
We would have a big BBQ and invite our friends over.
We were a multi national bunch so we hung all
our flags around the deck rails and flew
the USA flag on the house !
Then we headed out for the fireworks !!
Great times, great memories.

Have a great weekend !

Santa's sleigh ride

Here is a sneaky peek of the new
Christmas Create a Card dies
from Crafter's Companion !!
I have to say I love this die !!

Crafter's Companion

This was so quick and easy to make !
I cut and embossed the die on a piece of card
that fits onto a 8" x 8" card.
I then took my Faded Jeans distress inks and inked over
the image with the die in place.
I then inked around the outer edge (because I made a mess
and needed to cover up !!)
I stamped the sentiment, inked up the snowflakes
and adhered them with 3D glue and voila !

To make this card I used:
Die'sire Christmas Eve Create a Card
Snow White Centura Pearl with a hint of silver.
Die'sire Snowflakes Die set
Die'sire Sentimentals Mistletoe Kisses
3D Glue
Other items, Faded Jeans Distress Ink, Gem

Happy crafting !!

Favour Box or Place setting

Here is my second Project this week for Heartfelt Creations.
Have you seen this Arianna Blooms Collection yet ??
WOW It is one of my favourites !!!
Click on the pic below to go to their Website and check
out the amazing inspiration there is !!

Heartfelt Creations

Well ......... this could be used either as a gift box, or
as a favour at a wedding filled with sweeties .......
or even as a place setting !!
You could hand write the persons name on the front,
I left mine blank as my handwriting is terrible !!
I got my template HERE
I also have it in my templates board on my Pinterest

I made this out of scraps from my paper pad !!!
It would be much easier to make if you were using double sided paper.
All you do is draw around the template, score and fold and adhere !
And then decorate !

To make this I used:

452255 Grand Calibur
HCD 747 Arianna Lace Die
HCDP1 244 Arianna Blooms Paper Pad
354806 Standard Circle die
459222 Blossoms tool kit

Other Products Used : White Card, Template, Glitter Glue, Pearl gems, 3D glue
Tissue paper, Victorian Velvet Ink, All purpose glue.

Using white A4 card print a template full size. Print another on paper and cut
both out. On the unprinted side of the card template ink the card using the ink.
Ink the edges. Using the paper template cut into sections and draw around them
on papers from the paper pad ink the edges and adhere to the card template on
the printed side.Do this for all sides. I used scraps up for this!
Using a small die cut a circle out of each tall side for a handle. Die cut out
the swirls from the Lace die set. Adhere the box together.
Stamp, cut, ink, shape, glitter and add gems
for the flowers. Cut a 2 6/16" square in darker paper, cut 2 2/16"
square from one of the journalling pieces and matt and layer them.
Adhere to the box with 3D glue. Cut a sentiment and adhere
with the flowers and swirls and your project
is complete.

waiting patiently to share it !!

I have a photographic step by step tutorial how to make the box itself.
You can find it HERE

Check out the amazing inspiration this week on the Heartfelt Creations
website by clicking on the pic below.

 Heartfelt Creations

Here is my box open !
I cut each piece off the lacy die and adhered it
around the edge of the box covering over the top with ribbon.
It looks just like real lace !!

A full view of the box opened.
I used all the dies from the Arianna Lace set on this box !
I LOVE them !!!
I cut the papers so that they followed around the box .......
It is such pretty paper !

The top of the box.
The top paper and the one under the box itself is a card front
from the paper pad!! It does all the work of layering for you !!
I stamped the sentiment inked and cut it out, adhering
with 3D glue for depth. Added swirls and flowers and done !!

And the back view ............

To make this project I used the following:

452255 Grand Calibur
HCD 747 Arianna Lace Die
HCDP1 244 Arianna Blooms Paper Pad
HCD 748 Arianna Blooms Die
459222 Blossoms tool kit
452062 Grand Circle Dies
HCPC 3612 Arianna Birthday Set

Other Products Used : White Card, Ribbon, pearls, glitter glue,
alcohol pens, green card, Victorian Velvet Ink.

To make the box I have tutorial here
http://veritycards.blogspot.co.uk/2014/05/fold-over-box-tutorial.html
To decorate the box I stamped the sentiment and coloured using alcohol
pens. Die cut this out with a circle die and ink up the centre and edges.
Adhere to the top of the lid with 3D glue. Die cut the lace flower
three times and cut each petal off. Adhere to the edge of the box. Adhere
Ribbon over the top also. Using ribbon to match the ribbon to tie the box
together, adhere it around the middle section which is the back of the flap.
Stamp, ink, glitter shape and add pearls to the flowers. Die cut 2 decorative swirl
dies and a Flourishing vine. Cut the vine in half and adhere with the die cuts
and a flower to the back of the box. On the inner section die cut four petal dies
and adhere with a flower and two Flourishing vine die cuts. On the top of the box
cut a petal die with hearts and adhere under a flower with three flourishes.
also adhere three smaller flowers with two flourishes cut to fit in the flowers.
Your project is now complete.

Have you checked out the Arianna Blooms collection yet ??
Click on the pic below to check it out.

Heartfelt Creations

I am just LOVING this collection, the flowers are so amazing !
I was also a little bit naughty and bought another Spellbinders Die !!
It was Marisa Job's fault !!! hehe well I saw a card she did and fell in love with it !
Check out her blog by clicking on her name she has some amazing projects !!

To make this card I used the following :
452255 Grand Calibur
HCPC 3609 Arianna Blooms Bouquet PreCut set

Other Products Used : Spellbinders Heirloom Legacy die, Victorian Velvet Ink,
glitter Glue, 3D glue, pearl gems, white card, All purpose glue, alcohol pens.

Using white card die cut the Heirloom Legacy die. Fold another piece of card
and die cut again having the fold slightly within the edge of the die so a fold
is created for the card. Adhere the single die cut to the front of the card.
Stamp and colour the image and sentiment. Glitter the flowers. Die cut
this out using the Oval from the Heirloom Die set. Ink the edges and within
the die. Adhere the pearls and your card is complete.

Some of you may have seen this already on my Facebook
from the Create and Craft show Nikki did for this release !
I have been itching to share it with you !
I just LOVED making this.
As Nikki said I do like my boxes !!! hehe !!!
I also did a tutorial on how to make this HERE

Have you checked out the Arianna Blooms release yet ??
Pop on over to the Heartfelt Creations web site
by clicking on the pic below!

Heartfelt Creations

I used a stamp from the Arianna Vines set
to make the panels on the basket lid, adding a flower on top
for dimension too !!

To make the basket I used the following:
459222 Paper Blossoms Tools
452255 Grand Calibur
HCPC 3610 Arianna Vines PreCut set
HCD 748 Arianna Blooms Dies
HCDP1 244 Arianna Blooms Paper Pad
HCPC 3608 Arianna Blooms PreCut set

Other Products Used : Score Board, Victorian Velvet Ink, glitter Glue,
All purpose glue, 3D glue, pearl gems,

To make the basket itself follow the tutorial I made HERE
Adhere pearl gems along the edge of the basket and the handle.
Stamp, ink, shape and glitter the flowers. Cut two papers from the paper pad
2 x 4" x  2 1/4" and a contrasting paper 2 x  4 1/4" x 2 1/2" . Stamp your image
onto the smaller sized paper and colour and glitter the flowers. Adhere
to the large paper and then using 3D glue adhere the panels to the box lid.
Adhere the flowers to your box and the project is complete.

Picnic Basket Tutorial

Here is a tutorial on how I made this Picnic Basket Box
for my DT project at Heartfelt Creations.

Heartfelt Creations

Cut a piece of white card 8 3/4" x 10 3/4"
and score 2" along each side.
This will form the box base.

Cut into each corner to make tabs.

Fold along the score lines and adhere the corners together
to form the box.

Cut a base for the box to sit on 5 1/4" x 7 1/14"
Cut the lid 10 3/4" x 5"
Cut the handle 1 1/2" x 12"
Cut the middle section 1" x 9"

Take the lid piece and score 2" at each end,
these will form the flaps over the side of the top of the box.

Take the middle section piece of card and score 2"
at each end and adhere in the centre of the box.

Place the lid over the box and mark the sides
of the middle piece.

Score along the markings so that the box will open either side.

Measure each of the three panels on the top of the lid.
Depending on placement of the middle piece makes these
undetermined so need to be measured.

My pieces measured
5" x 2 14/16" for the two larger panels
1" x 5" for the centre panel

I also cut the two end flap pieces 5" x 2"

Adhere the pieces of paper to the lid.

Cut two pieces 1 1/2" x 12" for the handle.
Instead of adhering to the white card you can adhere
the two papers together instead, depends on how strong your paper is.

Now cut the papers for the sides of the box.
2 x 6 3/4" x 2"
2 x 4 3/4" x 2"
(check the measurements by measuring the box sides)

Adhere the handle to the box on both sides.

Adhere the papers to the sides of the box.

Adhere the lid to the box by adhering the centre panel
of the lid to the middle piece in the box.

Ink the handle edges. (Better to do this when the handle is
adhered together, but I forgot until now !!)

Adhere and ink the centre paper to the lid.

Ink the edges of the remaining panels.

Adhere the other panels on the top of the lid.

Adhere the papers to the edges of the lid.

Place self adhesive velcro to the side flaps of the lid.
This will secure the box lid in place.

Cut a contrasting piece of paper to fit the base.

Adhere them together and ink the edges.

Adhere the underneath of the box to the base

Your box is now finished and ready for decorating !!!

Here is mine to remind you decorated.

Have fun making one !!!
I would love to see your box, leave a link in the comments
so I can pop on over to your blog and see your project !!

Happy crafting !!
