I actually made this a few weeks ago when I was ill......
I was fed up of wall to wall children's TV
as my girls were ill too .........
SO when they had a nap I took myself off to make this !!!
It would have been my Grandmas birthday in few weeks
and this and the box were her colours !!
She would have LOVED them for her birthday............
I miss you Grandma xxxx BUT you inspire me still xxx
To make this I used the following:
HCPC 3578 Majestic Morning Background PreCUt set
HCD 742 Majestic Blooms Die
HCD 736 Classic leaf die
HCPC 3545 Open Leaf PreCut set
459222 Paper Blossoms Tools
HCD 732 Decorative Flower Pot Die
HCD 743 Raindrops On Roses
HCPC 3586 Raindrops on Roses Birthday PreCut set
Other Products Used : Hot glue and gun, die cutting machine, glitter glue, beads,
distress inks, applicator, white card, 3D Foam pads, Pearl card, Kraft Knife.
Using white card fold and cut using the large flower pot die to make a card.
Using pearlised card stock cut out the pt again and attach over the card.
Stamp the image in purple ink. Using the smaller pot die mark where the edge will be
and cut along the banner to that mark. Lift the cut are over the die and tape in place.
Die cut the small pot and then using your Kraft knife cut out the small area in
the circle. Attach using 3D foam pads to the pearlised card. Glitter the words
and flowers. Cut, ink and glitter the edges of the pot border and attach using 3D
foam pads. Cut and ink the edges of the
heart die from Raindrop on Roses and adhere
to the pot on an angle.
Stamp, cut, colour, bead and glitter the flowers. Stamp,
cut and colour the leaves.
Adhere the flowers and leaves to the card and your
project is complete.
Lovely creation. Gr Elly
ReplyDeleteLizzie...these flowers are beyond gorgeous. Just delightful!
ReplyDeleteCan you provide a little more instruction on how you colored the flowers? What type of ink did you use? D you have a video?
ReplyDeleteHi there! I used a ink pad, sometimes I use distress inks others just general ink pads. This happens to be one from Hobbycraft a lilacs purple. I apply the colour very lightly to the centre after rubbing it off on a spare piece of paper. Then heavily ink the edges, personally I prefer to use a finger dauber to do this. Thanks for stopping by! There is a tutorial for these flowers. Sorry I haven't worked out how to do videos yet! Next project to work on. http://veritycards.blogspot.co.uk/2014/03/flower-making-tutorial.html?m=0
