Sweetie Gift Holder - Heartfelt Wednesday

This week I made this gift holder for sweeties as one
of my projects over at Heartfelt Creations this week.
Click on the picture below and go check out the other amazing
projects from the Design Team.

Heartfelt Creations

Every year I make peppermint creams as gifts.
That's what's in this, but it could be chocolates
or any other gift you might want to put in !!
This is  the back of the Holder,
I made a pocket to pop tags in which
you can write a message to the recipient !!
I'll share my second project with you tomorrow.

To make the project I used the following:
HCDP1 239 Majestic Morning paper Collection
HCD 742 Majestic Blooms Die
HCPC 3578 Majestic Morning Background PreCUt set
HCD 736 Classic leaf die
HCPC 3545 Open Leaf PreCut set
HCD 729 Decorative Blossoms Corner Die
HCD 716 Layered Elegant Swirl
459222 Paper Blossoms Tools

Other Products Used : Glitter glue, white card, Hot glue and gun, pearls
ribbon, brown ink, self adhesive velcro.

Cut two 4 5/16" x 12" pieces from the paper pad. Adhere them together so
that both sides have the same colouring. Cut one end with the scalloped
edge die. At the other end of the paper score 2", 3", 4" from the edge
and fold in a concertina. Cut 2 pieces 4 4/16" x 5 1/2" for the front
of the holder. Adhere each piece either side of the 2" piece of the concertina.
Die cut and adhere the semi circle swirl to the front flap of the holder.
Die cut a corner die. Draw around the same die on matching papers and cut out and
adhere the die cut. Glue along the outer edges and adhere to the corner of the back
of the holder to make a pocket. Punch two holes in the back of the holder for the
to tie through holding the bag of sweets in place. Stamp flowers onto papers
from the pad and die cut, glittering the edges and adding pearl centres. Stamp, cut
and colour the leaves. Adhere flowers and leaves to the holder. Cut and glitter
sentiments and journalling pieces to go in the back pocket, punching a hole through them
and adding ribbon to look like a tag. Tie ribbon around a cello bag of sweets and thread
through the holes tying a bow at the back and your project is complete.
