You are my Hero.


Oh I am so excited it Wednesday so I get to share 
a Heartfelt Creations project AND we have a new release !!!

Heartfelt Creations

This is my second only ever layout !


I had a wonderful time making this.
The photo is my Grandfather in his uniform during the war.
The sentiments couldn't have been better for this!
I will always remember him, I have so many 
happy memories of my Grandparents.
He inspired me to do so much in my life 
and of course he was a hero !


Here is what I used to create the layout:

HCST1-401 Flower Shaping Kit
TSMP 800 Memento Rich Cocoa
HCDP1-253 Everyday Heroes Paper Collection
HCD 761 Everyday Heroes Die
HCD2-751 Cut Mat Create 2A die
HCD2-749 Cut Mat Create 1A die
HCD1-748 Arianna Blooms Die
HCPC-3608 Arianna Blooms Cling Stamp set
HCPC 3665 Everyday Hero Newsprint
HCPC- 3667 You inspire me
HCPC 3664 My Hero
HCD1-713 Decorative Lace Border Die
159723 Art Institute Glue

Other Products Used : Brown Card, Pearl gems, Black pen, Black card, Red ink,
Peeled Paint distress ink, White card, edger tool, photo. 

Choose a piece of paper from the paper pad for the layout page. Cut a piece of 
brown card 7 1/2" x 5 1/2" and distress the edges. Cut a piece of paper 7 1/4" x
5 1/4" and distress the edges. Adhere the paper to the card and adhere a 7" x 5"
photo to the paper. Die cut two lace borders and adhere together. Adhere the 
lace border and the photo to the layout page. Die cut the Eveyrday Heroes die
in brown card. Stamp and die cut the sentiments in brown ink and adhere all to
the layout. Stamp the Hero sentiment and die cut with the Cut Mat Create small
rectangle die. Adhere to the layout and cut the boots from a piece of paper in the 
pad. Adhere the boots to the layout. Stamp, cut, colour and shape the flowers.
Die cut the flower centres in black card and add a pearl gem coloured with a black
pen to the centre. Die cut the leaf swirls and colour with the Peeled Paint ink.
Adhere the flowers and leaves to the card and your layout is complete.

  4. Hi Liz, Well this is a treat. What a wonderful surprise scrapbook page! I love what you did with the layout. The lace die adds interest and the flowers turned out beautifully. I can even see the little sparkle you added to the blooms. I really like how you cut the leaf swirls out of white cardstock and then sponged them with the green, really lovely effect. Great Job.
