Today I have my second project of the week for Heartfelt Creations.
I have to say I LOVED making these feathers for my card today.
I tried using some new pens I got and wow I LOVE them!
So easy to use!! Aqua Pens and a water brush...... brilliant!
I am going to have a real play with them over the Easter Holidays.
Make sure you pop over to check out the Heartfelt Creations blog,

Other Products Used : White card, Aqua pens - Sunflower and Peacock Blue
Faded Jeans and Peeled Paint Distress inks, beads, edger tool, glue, 3D foam pads,

Cut a 7" x 5" tent fold card. From the paper pad cut two 6 3/4" x 4 3/4" pieces
from a darker paper and distress the edges. Cut two lighter pieces 6 1/2" x
4 1/2" and distress the edges. Take one of each sized papers and adhere them on top
of each other and adhere to the inside of the card. Take the other two and adhere
them with 3D foam pads to the outer of the card. Using a 6" x 6" section of paper
from the pad cut 4 strips 6" x 1" and distress the edges. Glitter glue the edges of
all the papers and the pattern of the inner piece. Cut a dark piece of paper 5" x 2"
and then a lighter piece 5" x 1 1/2" and stamp the sentiment. Distress the edges
and adhere both across the card glittering the edges. Stamp and colour the feathers
with the Aqua pens and water brush. Cut out the feathers and glitter. Stamp the flowers
with the Faded Jeans ink and colour the centres with the Summer Sky Ink. Shape and
adhere beads to the centre and glitter the petals. Stamp, cut. colour and shape the
leaves. Adhere flowers, leaves and feathers to the card and your project is complete.
