I thought today I would share more of my projects I made to be a finalist.

This is half of my second project I made for

Heartfelt Creations as a semi finalist.
Half I hear you say ..... Yes!
This is an envelope box designed as a clutch bag
to go with the shoes I made.

How I wish I could make these in fabric !

BUT like I said there is another part to it
which I will share with you soon !!

Materials Used

Classic Leaf Die

Vintage Floret Die

Mini Vintage Floret PreCut stamps

Open Vintage Floret PreCut stamps

Open Leaf PreCut stamps
Classic Leaf PreCut stamps

Daphne Paper Collection

Paper Blossoms Tool Kit
Spellbinders Grand labels 1

OTHER ITEMS - Inks, Dauber, Hot glue, string pearls, Sticky velcro and double sided tape.

To Make it 

* Cut the following papers. 1 piece 16.5 cm x 27 cm and score 12 cm from each end.

This forms the body of the bag.

2 Pieces 13 cm x 5 cm and score 1 cm from both sides and along the bottom.

These will form the sides.

*Cut out the largest of the Grand Labels one which will form the flap of the bag. 

Score in the middle and 3 cm from the middle.

*Adhere the sides and the flap, trimming where necessary along the back.

*Cut a piece of paper  16.5 cm x 8 cm. 

Adhere to the back of the box so it forms a pocket.

*Adhere String pearls around the edge of the front flap and 

along the line of the back pocket.

*Stamp, and cut out your leaves. I left my leaves unembossed

and used the stamps themselves to colour the front leaves.

The leaves on the rear I did on green paper for colour effect.

*Stamp, ink, emboss and adhere your flowers.

*Add Velcro dots or a sticky velcro piece to the inner of the flap.

* Arrange and adhere the leaves and flowers to the box

and your project is complete.

True Friends

Another Christmas card for you today.
I have a few Christmas fairs coming up so I need
to make a stash ready !!
I just adore House Mouse stamps.

Infact I sometimes just get them out and look at them !!

I know sad !! Confessions of a stamp addict ! lol !

This image is just gorgeous.

Its more versatile than I thought.

I bought it to make it for my OH one Xmas BUT .....

Then I realised how cute it was for friends too !

I used Nitwit papers, border punch by Martha Stewart,

Swirl die from Cheery Lynn.

The flowers are from my stash, I'm trying to use them up

as I have a lovely Spellbinder die to use.

I have been so enjoying making flowers !

Of course I had to glitter up the stamped poinsettias and add bling !

One last thing .....

PARTY TIME IS COMING!!!

We are gearing up for another party at The Stamping Boutique.  

It is going to be filled with challenges,

 games and of course prizes. 

We have changed the location to a chat page that 

will be set up on the blog. We are hoping it is less confusing than

Dressing the tree

I was asked to make a card using an

image where the Christmas tree is being dressed.

So I thought I'd share my make with you all.

The image and sentiment are from LOTV, 

papers are Nitwits Simple Joys.

The holly swirl is a Cheery Lynn die cut.

And of course those snowflake decorations again !!

Well the kitchen is coming along ....... SLOWLY ! 

lol ! Still its getting there, all the walls are now 

painted, gloss work to do and new doors to fix.

Mmm can't imagine it will be done soon

as I have a little one to look after too ! lol !

A letter for you.

Here is another Christmas card I made

using The Wild Studio Annabelle images.

I love layers and putting things under the layers.

I used the Snowflake Xmas decs' again, you will see these a lot!

Well until I run out of them !!!

Its going to be a close run thing if the shops don't 

get them in again soon !!! lol!

I used a Postcard stamp and glittered it up to layer

behind the papers, and of course I used

my Stickles and glittered up the snow !

I'm Published!

Wow ! I am thrilled to be able to tell you now!

The Stamping Boutique was approached earlier in the year

to do a piece in The Complete Cardmaking magazine !

Here is the card I made for Tracey.

I used the image The Culprit.

I used Nitwit papers, Spellbinder bauble dies,

Cheery Lynn flourish and Sizzix 3D flower die.

As you can see I used LOTS of glitter !

To give texture to the bauble I covered one of them in glitter glue !

Thankfully it was a hot day and didn't take too long to dry !

BLING BLING !!

The challenge over at The Stamping Boutique

is BLING BLING 

This was a quick make as I am fighting for space ....

The Kitchen is being decorated and all

surfaces downstairs are covered in stuff !!!

I managed finally to grab enough space to make this!

I used Labels 20 for the shape of the decoration.

Added gems all around the edge, adhere ribbon 

between two die cuts and add a bow.

I coloured the image Princess Jennifer Latte Decorating the tree

with pro markers and added glitter for more sparkle!

Well back to decorating I guess ........

Mmm maybe a coffee first !!

Elegant Flower Shoes

I thought I would share with you one of my projects
I made as a semifinalist for Heartfelt Creations.
I did email and check with them first tho and they said
It was ok to blog before the winners are announced!
Voting has now closed and my projects posted off !!
First of all I would like to wish all the other semifinalists the best of luck
and to thank everyone who voted for me.

I know I have made these shoes before !!
As soon as I saw the leaf stamps Heartfelt Creations sent me to use
I just knew I wanted to make these !
I wish I could have a real pair like this !
These can be used as a gift box, pop chocolates or a gift
in a cell bag, tie with ribbon and lay inside the shoe.

Moss Green 3D Stamp paint

OTHER ITEMS - Score board and tools, hot glue gun, string pearls,
template, inks, and a sponge

How to Make it !
*Print and cut a Shoe template. The one I used is in my Pinterest.
*Trace around the template on your paper, marking any score lines and cut out.
Repeat this if you wish to make a pair of shoes.
*Cut the template down to make a lining for the shoe.
* Trace around the lining, marking any score lines and cut out.
*Score all score lines on all shoes and linings.
* 2nd Stamp over the outer of the shoes with a leaf stamp in a green ink.
*Adhere the shoe together and then adhere the lining inside the shoe.
*Stamp and cut the flowers and leaves. I used three different leaf stamps.
*Adhere together and shape the flowers
*Use the 3D stamp paint over the leaves with a small piece of sponge.
*Adhere the string pearls around the edge of the shoe.
*Position and adhere the leaves and flowers along the shoe your project is now complete.
This can be used as a gift box by putting something in a cello bag
tied with ribbon and put inside the shoe.

If you have never used the 3D Stamp paint, its amazing !
So very easy to use and gives amazing results.
I am hooked !

Christmas Shoes

I LOVED these shoes so much I thought I would make them again !

This week over at Polka Doodles the Challenge is .....

CHRISTMAS !!

I used the wonderful A Home For Christmas CD

from Polka Doodles for the papers and embellies only.

The template is one I found on the internet, there are lots of them out there.

I printed a piece of card both sides and then printed the template

on one side and cut out and adhered it together. 

I did the shoes papers opposite to each other

as I thought they would make great place settings on my Christmas table,

alternating them along the table.

 

I printed and cut out lots of holly, used gems to bling up.

One shoe I added Stickles glitter glue, I didn't want the shoes the same !

I added some chocolates in a bag with ribbon and printed names, adding holly again.

  

This is what the shoes look like empty .........

NO I didn't eat the chocolates .......... honest !!!

Under the mistletoe

A House Mouse Christmas card today.

I used my CD for this one. 

I LOVE it there are so many images on there !

I have to admit I printed off the image before I found papers etc.

So I struggled !

                              In the end I used my Graphics program and made the background

colour of a digital paper I had the same as the image colour.

Of course I thought ! Light bulb moment !!

KRaft card would look good with it!

And this is what I came up with.

I used Marianne hearts, Doohickey mistletoe, 

Cheery Lynn swirls and Marianne corner dies.

Of course I glittered the image up and

added bling !!!

Feeding the Birds

I just LOVE this Wild Rose image !

I have a craft fair on Saturday so I thought I had

better get on and make some cards to sell !

The papers are Nitwits, I seem to really favour these papers

for Xmas cards I need to challenge myself

to use different ones !

I'm loving those snowflakes ! Tree decs !!

I glittered up the snow, flowers and the girls hat

to add sparkle to the card.

Well I better get going as we are painting the Kitchen today.

Great fun ! Mmmm ......

Still it means a nice easy tea ! lol!

Although when OH painted yesterday he got paint 

on the pan handles  .............. how ??? Lol !

Well I whipped up this card !

Like the pun ?? Lol !

Cooking card ..... whipped ..... oh ok its a rubbish joke !!

I used Nitwit papers, LOTV image and recipe stamps.

Flowers, punched leaves and those snowflakes are Xmas decs !!

I LOVE those snowflakes ! I bought a whole stash last Xmas to see me 

through the year in my card making !

Now I need more !!!

As Promised

Ok, Ok !!! So here we go ......

I did say I would post this pic if I was asked by enough of you !!

So ...... in mind it is nearly Halloween here is 

the pic of me dressed up at my party last year !!

Its funny I hate having my pic taken so there are so few of them.

I have to make a concious effort to have some taken so there 

are some for the girls when they are older !

Phew its been a whirlwind of the last few days, 

no cards made BUT it was my birthday !!

So please forgive me for not posting.

Oh I was so spoilt!

So I thought instead of no posts I would share some pics

with you instead !

I had an amazing lunch at Jamie Olivers on my birthday,

and then SUPER time at the paper show !

Daren't admit how much I spent !!! 

But then its been in the cupboard for ages

cough cough !!

A big girls sweet shop !! lol !

Then a fantastic day out at the Coast.

Fish and chips at Whitby (pic below of me and my girls)

and then ......... my favourite ice cream.

Lemon Top at Scarborough !

And to top of all that my Aunt had me in tears yet again with her pressie!
