This week at Polka Doodles the challenge is ...

Yup you guessed !!

CHRISTMAS IN JULY !!!

For my card  I used a digi image from the new mini CD

Angelberry Christmas

I coloured her using promarkers.

Papers are from the Gingerbread twist CD.

I used my Stickles glitter glue to jazz up the Marianne die cuts 

of the stars and icicles.

boy it sparkles this card !!!

Added some gems and voila !!!

I also made this card using the pre-coloured image and embellies.
this is all from Angelberry.
I used the embellies to make banners !!!

So..... this is the card I made

for my other half's 65th!!

He reckons he is retired now ................

I used a  Go-Kreate die for the card itself,

Spellbinders border die.... so loving that curve!

Marianne hearts, La La crafts bunting 

Spellbinders lacey oval and LOTV sentiment.

The image is him at 5!!

He's not that cute now!! lol!!

Let it Fly

This week at Polka Doodles the challenge is

LET IT FLY !

For my card I used the wonderful Bonbon Belles CD. 

I made my card as a heart easel card, using distress inks. 

I cut flowers out from the CD, layering the middles and adding gems for the centers. 

I then cut out one of the Owlie images from the CD 

and popped her on top, 

added some gems as stoppers and voila ! 

I should have glittered up my owlie  I just remembered !!

oops !!! 

Summer fun

SUMMER FUN ! 

over at Polka Doodles this week.

I have used the new CD Bonbon Belles

to make my card.

Again I have gone for a CAS card.

I used the elements from the CD for the Ice creams,

cherries and strawberries !

I printed another set of images off and cut them out 

using 3D foam to give dimension.

I glittered up the ice-creams with stickles glitter glue.

Flower Power !

So I have been making fabric flowers !!
Caitlyn my eldest has asked to make them

to raise money for Cancer Charity selling them at school.

Brilliant Caitlyn !! I'm so proud !

So here are my makes to help her.

This white one is sooooo easy !! Fold and glue !!

This one was much more fiddly, not sure I'll be making many of these .....

30 minutes it too sewing it into shape ..... Mmm !

I thought I would make some Christmas crackers !!

All the papers and Images are from the CD.

The white star and tree are Marianne Dies glittered 

up with Stickles to make them pop !

New Baby Girl

I just don't have any new baby cards so I thought

I had better get on with some !!!

(and stop playing with the sewing machine !!)

I used my Marianne die for my card, love this shape as you can tell !!

The image is a Wild Rose rubber stamp 

coloured with promarkers.

So easy to colour !!!

Flowers  I made from Do-Hickey die cuts

added some gems and glitter !!

A bit of sewing !!!

Well my daughter got a sewing machine!

So I had a play !!

Its been oh only a few years, yeah right !!

since I last used a machine!!!! 

 So I thought I would make some

very simple things so we can

then make them together.

Lavender pillows tied with ribbon

and 

A decorative heart !
