Wedding Card !!!

Oh, Ok ............... seems as though wedding fever is reaching everywhere !!!! So Igave in and agreed Caitlyn can watch it on tv so I guess its in my mind which is why when I sat down to make a friendship card I came up with this !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Mmm !!!! Maybe I will do that tomorrow ........... on Grandma duty Fri and Sat so not much chance then !!! Bless her !



I got out my grand calibur and cut the fancy shaped card, the paper is wrapping paper from Tesco !! Dont know anyone getting married myself yet but I guess I can co-ordinate wrapping paper for a gift with the card when I do !!! Trusty flowers all glittered up and some pearls I got at such a bargain price from NEC !! 6 packs for a tenner !! 100 in a pack !!! BARGAIN !!

Christmas Card Club card - Keryns Challenge

Hi there everyone !!! Well it was so nice to sit at my desk yesterday and make a card ! I havent been able to just spend time making and playing properly for a while ......... well ok at least a week !!! hehe !!!

Keryn set the challenge this time and she provided a table for us to choose one thing out of each column. I chose poinsettia, red and ribbon to make my card from. The card is cut using a Marianne Die, LOTV image and sentiment, poinsettias from Wild Orchid crafts and I used a Martha Stewart puch for the holly. Out came the glitter glue and Bob's your uncle !!! Well actually he's not but he is my cousin !! Thanks Keryn for a great challenge I really enjoyed it. Go see the other ladies creations, you can see the gang listed on my sidebar !

The next challenge is set by Sylvie and its to use pink !!! Lovely !!! I just love the cards I have seen in the past for Christmas using pink and one other colour of our choice plus white ! So thinking cap on me reckons !!!

Forever Friends Easter card

I made this card as an Easter card for the FF fortnightly challenge following a sketch. I added a few bits of bling, ribbon and glitter and voila !!

Fizzy Moon Easter card for Gran

Well Gran loves purples ........... all shades !!! she is renowed for it !!! Infact her wardrobe until 5 years ago didnt contain any other colour so ............. I just had to do her card in yep you guessed it lilacs !! Grans been poorly again so it really was just a quick one ! I used a Fizzy Moon stamp, papers from Pink Petticoat and no flowers !!! (its so hard not to hehe !!)! Stamp from LOTV and a Marianne die.

Card made from a Marianne Creatable die !!

Phew its been a busy week !!! I finally got to make a quicky card ............ roll on school starting again !!! hehe !!! Well I just love this die from Marianne. I folded a piece of card over in half and cut the die so it didnt cut the whole part of the outer pattern on one round, then cut two more so the the embbosing showed on the front and the base niceley !! I just love the effect it gives as a card !!! The image is LOTV which I glittered up and stamped ticket from Whimsy Stamps. Not sure who its for yet but you never know !!! I am entering it into Papertake weekly where there has to be a dimension to your project !!

Christmas Card Club Card

Hi ladies well here is my card following Sally's super Sketch !!! For the next fortnight we are following Keryn's Challenge Have a look !! In fact pop over and vist all the CCC girls they are listed on my side bar and see what great cards they made, just loving them ladies !!! Oh yes and for those lucky enough to have gone to Ally Pally hope you had a great time !!!!

My card image is LOV and the papers are Pink Petticoat, stamp by Whimsy Stamps and snowflakes are Martha Stewart punches I borrowed from My Aunt ........... Yes I gave her them back !!! hehe !!!

Its a Girl and a double easel card

Well ............ as I made the twisted easel the other day I thought I would have a go at a double easel card !!! Wow !!! What an amazing effect !!

My cousin is expecting a baby in June so I thought I would make a 'its a girl' card as I have a boy one ready ............ you know odds are she would have a girl if I only had a boy card made !!!!

I have entered this into the Forever Friends monthly challenge, check out the great cards there !

I found the words off the internet and printed them off on the laptop, flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts glittered up, the paper is Papermania and I used a Forever Friends Decoupage.

My partner as I finished this was just shouting wow to my easter card and how clever the twist is, so of course I had to put this under his nose !!! He was amazed at the effect us ladies get with our cards bless him !!

Hope you like it I have taken various pictures of different angles as its not do easy to photograph !!!!!! And no I couldn't resist the flowers !!!

Easter Card

Well ............ I sat and looked at my goodies I got from the NEC and Harrogate fairs and decided that I wasn't going to leave them in the bag still !!! I know terrible !!! So ................ I also thought I would do something I hadn't done before; a side easel card ......... this is what I came up with after spending hours just looking at my new stash !!! The image is Warren from Craftwork Cards, the flowers are from a Doohickey die which I inked up around the edges and added a paper flower in. The stamped sentiment is from Lili of the Valley, one the new releases I just had to have !!! Paper is from Papermania and the swirl is a Marianne Creatable !!! All stash from the shows !!! Phew ...................... Oh yes and I added some bling !!! A girl just has to add bling hehe!!!! As some of you know Gran isn't well so my Aunt and I are looking after her so card making is a welcome release for us both at present !!! I am entering this into Papertake Weekly Challenge - Anything goes and Creative Inspirations - punches and dies; The Crazy Challenge - just add flowers and the Crafty pad challenge too !!! Hope you like it !!

Grans Birthday card

Hi there all !!! Its my Grans 93rd Birthday on Monday and this is the card I made for her. The photo on it is actually her when she was a bridesmaid to her best friend !! I love this picture.

I used papers from Bearly Mine Designs from the Vintage collection, flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts and I used my new purchase my Marianne swirl !! Mmm love it ! I dont have a doily die so I used actual doilys behind the picture, and one inside to write on, on layed papers as the front !

As I lived with Gran when I was a child I am entering this into Paper Plays Challenge for Mum. And into The Crafty Pad challenge - flowers !!

Saturday Challenge - Butterflies

Hi all !!! Well I hope you all had a great weekend and the Mums amongst us got throughly spoiled ! This card was for my Aunts Mothersday card, she is a truly special lady and couldn't be more of a mum to me.

As the Saturday Challenge is butterflies and this has them on it (in amongst the flowers) I thought it would be great for that !!! Due to Gran being poorly I didn't get much chance to make it ............... but I used the free disc that came with Aprils Papercraft Inspirations., glitterd up the decoupage and added those wonderful flowers !!!! hehe !!! Just loving the papers on the disc !!!

Cutie Sunday Challenge Card

Hi there, here is my card for the Cutie Sunday Challenge. We are required to follow a sketch as below, go on over to their website and have a look at the great cards that have been made !For this I used papers from my stash, not sure where, the Stamp I am not sure who its by so if anyone knows I would love to be told !!! I have spent hours trawling the net !!!!!! The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and Igot to use my new punch from Martha Stewart !!!! The wording is a Whimsy Stamps ticket stamp (I borrowed it from my Auntie !!! And yes I did give it her back !!!!)

Well its been busy here hence my abscence for a few days, my Gran took a turn for the worse so my Aunt and I have been busy !!! Still its worth it.
