So ........ 2013 has started with a big bang !

I will be honest I all most gave up card making for good !!

Phew thank you Nikki for giving me just what I needed to get going !!

SO.... this week our challenge is Monochrome.

The snow really made the light difficult !! Sorry !!

For my card  I used the CD Not for girls, 

a Marianne die for the leaves called Open Flowers

I made the flowers, used some ribbon and glitter glue from my stash !

Something different!

Well I thought I would share my bauble I made !

I got lots of sequins, glue, ribbon and pins and................

Voila !!

Ahh........ its so good to have my mojo back !!! I'm raring to go !

Loads of ideas plus a trip coming up  to the USA craft shops !!

Motivation enough !!!!

Well my mojo still hasn't returned,
but I have been buying some goodies
So I hope it will soon .....
I'm going to start on a cross stitch project tho
We have a baby arriving in the family this year !,
No not mine!

Anyway I thought I would look at the cards
I did this year and pick a few of my favourites!

This time at the Christmas card club its Clare's turn to set the challenge !

Great one Clare I have been making a conscious effort 

to not make square cards recently !!!

So .......... I had a few up my sleeve lol !!

For the blue one above I used my XXL GO-Kreate dies to make the shape of the card,

LOTV image, Doh-Hickey tag, Snowflakes from Asda !! and papers from Nitwits !!

The red one below ...... I used my NEW XXL scalloped dies !! 

THANK YOU Margaret !! hehe she treated me to a set !!

Again image is LOTV, holly branch die from Cheery Lynn

and papers from Nitwits.

A Vintage one ...... I used my Marianne Oval Anja Die

I tried to do something different but it just didn't work in the time I had ......

Bright colours ........ oops I thought it was the Snowman Challenge but thats next time !!! 

So I had a search through my cards I made earlier and hope this is ok !! 

Its Bright red !!! 

Still I'm all ready for next time lol !!!

Dohickey tag and of course my Snowflake tree dec !!!

Sugar and Spice

I can't believe two weeks has passed and I haven't made a card !!!

This time its Zoe's turn to set the challenge at

the Christmas Card club !!!

She chose Sugar and Spice !!!

Here is my card............ 

Sugar and Spice and all things nice, THAT'S what little girls are made of !

The card is made by using a Marianne Anja Oval die

Image from a disc, Cheery Lynn holly and flowers !!

It takes a lot of pearls to do this card but I think it was worth it !!
