News !!!!

At last I can share some news with you !!!
Its been so hard keeping this quiet !!

Some time ago I applied to the DT call for
Crafter's Companion Die'sire team ..........
On Friday I got a very surprising email to say
I was on their team !!! Yay !!!
I am so thrilled and excited !!

I am so thrilled at this next part of my crafting journey !!

This is what is on Crafter's Comapnion Blog:

Leann shared this about the process on her blog:
“I do want to do first is say a massive and extremely heart-felt thank you to each and every one of you who applied to be part of our Design Teams. The quality of the applications, wealth and breadth of talent simply was outstanding and made the job of choosing a very very difficult one for the selection panel. It has taken them so long to reach a decision because it was very hard to separate you all, it was such a close run thing, eventually we had to run a silent ballot – a bit like the elections to keep it fair and unbiased, it took us longer than hoped to do all the counting, and double-checking, but the result we can be very proud to say was those with the most votes were selected.”
So, here are the ladies who will make up the Main Crafter’s Companion Design Team (click on their names to visit their blogs!):

Easter Chicks

Easter is so not far away !!! And I have given up
Chocolate can you believe it !!! hehe !
I gave it up Feb 1st and still going strong !!
Its a good excuse to ask for a Spellbinder die instead of an egg
for my Easter pressie !!! Cheeky I know !!!

Well its time for another challenge at
The Stamping Boutique.
This week it is
MAKE YOUR SENTIMENT POP !!
Click on the pic to go to the challenge.

The Stamping Boutique

For my card I made my sentiment pop
by having it as a wavy banner.
I used the digi image Farm Chick for my card.
I printed Nitwits yellow check paper and
then the image over it, cut it out,
inked the edges with brown ink and shaded using Promarkers.
I did this twice and added ribbon and a bow !
I used Spellbinders Venetian Motif and circle dies,
Marianne die for the leaves and flowers are from WOC.
I used Sizzix embossing folder, not sure it shows up
in the picture tho .........

Well that's my Easter card made !!
I only send one made one !

Have a great weekend
 and Happy Crafting !

Sadly the laundry and dusting fairy don't come to my house

Just for you

I thought I'd challenge myself to use something
that's been in the cupboard ages and I haven't used for ages !
The embossing folder is about 5 years old
and used once !!! Ooops !!

This card was so quick and easy to make too !
I cut a A5  piece of white card and folded.
I then cut a piece of card just smaller
and embossed it. (Its a Sizzix folder)
I love this folder so don't know why
I haven't used it in so long !

The sentiment stamp is from Heartfelt Creations.
I used the Majestic Morning Flowers and Open Leaf stamps
and co-ordinating dies from Heartfelt Creations.
I used Distress inks to colour the flowers and leaves
shaped them and added beads to the centre of the flowers.

I am so taken by the effect of this card, so simple but so elegant.
Right I had better post it !
Its for my friend over in the USA.
Happy crafting !

Simply the Best

Here is my third project this week for Heartfelt Creations
I am so loving this release !!!
I just want to sit and craft so I apologise
for so many posts !! lol !!

Plus I was a naughty girl and bought a new die
unbeknown to my OH !!!! lol !!
So I was so excited to use it !!!
Actually if I have an idea I need to do it straight away
or I forget !!!! Getting old !!! lol !!

Have you checked out the Raindrops on Roses collection yet ??
Check it and all the amazing inspiration out
by clicking on the pic below.

Heartfelt Creations

To make the card I did the following:
HCPC 3578 Majestic Morning Background PreCUt set
HCD 742 Majestic Blooms Die
HCD 736 Classic leaf die
HCPC 3545 Open Leaf PreCut set
459222 Paper Blossoms Tools
452255 Grand Calibur
HCPC 3584 Lady Rosalie PreCut set
031458 Timeless Rectangle
HCDP1 240 Raindrops on Roses Paper pad

Other Products Used : 3D foam pads, glitter glue, beads,
purple and green ink, hot glue.

Using paper from the paper pad die cut the front of the card. Score
1" and fold the paper over and cut along the line to form a hinge.
Cut three die cuts and adhere one to the back of the front and then
one either side of the hinge. This forms your card. Cut a panel
from a printed card front and stamp the sentiment on. Adhere the
panel to the front of the card using 3D foam pads. Stamp, cut, colour
and add beads to the flowers. Stamp cut and colour the leaves.
Adhere the leaves and flowers to your card and your project is complete.
