Colour inspiried

Well, something a little different this week from me !! At C4E the challenge this week is a colour one. I happened to be looking at my beads and thinking of this challenge so I decided to make a necklace and earings than a card ! I'm sure it will wing its way to my friend soon !!! The beads are a semi precious stone, Russian Serpentine. Green with natural colourings and markings making them quite stunning, so with a bit of wire work and threading voila !!

Winter sports !

Well this challenge from the Christmas card club was so appropriate as Caitlyn has been in Colorado ski-ing this week !!! I decided to use a criss cross fold card. papers are Nitwits and image is LOTV. Oh how I love the snow ...........  but I love spring too and that's nearly here !!

Mothersday

Over at C4E this week our challenge is Mothersday ! Its not long now !! Well I used Tatty Teddy Spring Cd again for this challenge. I just love these papers and images !!! I also decided to get my Cricut out and dust it off !! Mmm I wish I hadn't bothered !! It took me 2 hours to get a correctly cut word "Mother" !

Anyway I did eventually succeed ........ I made a card and a box and a gift tag. I edged the lid of the box with a punch to give it a more interesting edge than just square. The flowers are from bridal confetti from the USa with added bling !! So all ready for Mothers day now !

Digital Delights

Hello everyone !!! What a busy busy week ............. I took my little girl to the airport to go see her dad for a week in the USA and have been deep cleaning the kitchen and lounge !!! Inc sorting out furniture and stuff !!! Phew ............

This week at C4E the challenge is Digital Delights to include a digi element or use everything digi !! As you can see I chose to use a Tatty teddy image and papers from the new Springtime Cd !! Only the flowers and bling on this card are not digital. I thought I would go for a nice simple clean look for this. I glitterd up the flowers and the bow on the egg. Now who to send this card to ............... !!!

Have a great weekend I have a busy one ahead, Sunday dinner for my partners children !! Will be great fun we number 11 of us when we are all together !!

Multi folds

Well thank goodness I had this one already made !!! Isabella had her immunisations this week and reacted badly so I have been sat cuddling her all week !! I am now fed up of daytime TV !!! roll on next week when I can get card making again !

It was my turn to set the challenge this week for the Christmas gang and it was more than two folds .......... I used a prefolded card with a LOTV image and a computer generated greeting. I left it plain and simple as I felt it really didn't need much more on it !

Have a great weekend, leaving Chris at home with the baby and I get to take my eldest bowling for her birthday today ........... great !!! Not sure who got the short straw !!! hehe !!

Wow another week has breezed by !!! Half term too so its been a a busy busy one !!!
This week at C4E the challenge is to use a lock and key on your creation ! I used them as charms on my card. The papers are from a pad called Spring Fiesta .............. I am just loving it !! Image is a LOTV one. I used a Spellbinder die to create the border (its the square die and I cut it into pieces to make the effect of a border punch !! I also used the die behind the image but on an angle. The paper really sets this card off so it didn't really want too much fuss adding !!!

Well best go as I am off visitng friends today and have a long drive ........ I hope there is no snow due today !
