Snowflake, snowflake come down from the sky and flutter on by ........

Hehe well we may have had enough of the snow this week !!! Our Christmas card club challenge is "Snowflake" so I got out my snowflake Christmas dec's, my snowflake paper and charms ............. This little girl is looking out the window for the snow ........ I just love the holly swirl die cut, its a Cheery Lynn die and just so scrummy !!! The snowflake charm is hung from the white snowflake so it has movement, I tried to hang it from the bow but it just didn't work !!!

That's a question we don't ask !!! hehe !!! Wow a week has gone by and its time for the C4E challenge again !!! This week the challenge is a colour one and is Raspberry Delight. Pop on over and check out the other DT cards !

Well I used my Hero Arts stamp again on this card, I am just loving having it back !!! I really must get the thank you one too ........... my list is getting longer and longer and the cash less and less !!! hehe !! I also used the yummy scrummy Memory Box die elegant scrollwork to create the border and under the flowers. Oh wow it cuts so fantastic for such fine work ! I will be using it again and again !!! Papers are by Nitwits, hopefully I will get my box of papers from the USA when my daughter comes back from her visit to the USA in March and I can use a different selection !!

Well its Friday so have a great weekend !!!

Shades of blue

The challenge this week at Forever friends is shades of blue ! Here is my card, our sponsor is Bugaboo Stamps and they kindly gave us this image to work with ! Thank you so very much.

The top paper is actually a stamp from Hero arts, I just love this stamp ! My daughter managed to get some of my craft stuff back from the USA when she visited and this was one of the stamps she got out of my things there !! Fabby !! The stripy paper is a Nitwit one but now not sure which collection .............. oh boy I must write these things down !!

Well Isabella is growing fast ......... eating loads well drinking loads of milk !! and sleeping lots too !!! Best go give her a cuddle !!! Happy crafting !!!

This week at C4E the challenge is a sketch (as below). Well ............. this one really did make me think. The rectangle across the card got me stumped. In fact I ended up with a headache after making it !!!

I used a LOTV image and the papers are by Nitwits, border is a Martha Stewart deep punch and flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts. I just had to use my new purchase the spellbinder die; Circle of hearts. However having said that the  stamp I used to make the rectangle is VERY old and never used till now !!! Its PSX stamp of a definition of love, a  lovely stamp that will get used more I know !

Humphreys Stocking

Wow two more weeks have gone by and its time for the Christmas club challenge again !!!! Where is time going ??????? This time its Pinky's turn and she challenged us to use a critter on our cards. So ......... whoop whoop I had just got a Christmas Humphrey's Corner CD so I just had to use it for this !!!!

I have kept this very plain and simple as I thought it would be ideal for a child's card. This was all printed from the CD I just added the very back lilac card to it !

Well as its Sunday I am off to get my lunch ready, a nice Pork dinner and make some fresh bread ! Hehe I know ...... a small baby and I can still manage to cook and make cards !!! I made bread and red onion marmalade chutney already this week !!! Its because I have a great supportive partner who shares the load with me. Bless !

Clean and simple .........

Yeah I know ................ its not often my cards are clean and simple !!! The more bling, glitter and bits the better !!! hehe !!! Well the challenge this week at C4E was clean and simple !! The sponsor this week is our own team leader at Crafts 4 Eternity !!! I did get some bling in tho ........ !!! hehe !!!

Not sure what stamp this is, its one I stamped up of my friends in the USA and never used .......... you know along with all those other things in the back of the cupboard I just HAD to have !!! Oh boy ....... its nearly Harrogate Paper show  I guess more stuff will be NEEDED and go in the cupboard too !!! I WILL BE GOOD ......... mmm .......... bit rash to promise that I think !!

More than one folded card .............

So this week at Forever Friends the fortnightly challenge is to create a card using more than one fold !! Sponsored by Di's Digi stamps !! Here is my card it has 4 folds in !!

To make the card cut 2 x 6"x6" cards. Stick two of the sides together to create a three paneled card. The two outer side fold over to create the triangles and decorate as you wish !!!

I used some glitter daisy card I got from NEC last year . I have been stroking it all this time and really didn't want to cut it ........... But it was a perfect pattern for the Forever friends image I had chosen so I bravely put it in the paper cutter and pushed the blade !!! I added a border that  I cut from a Martha Stewart punch for added effect and of course flowers !!! I added the same spellbinder die cut  on the inner of the card directly behind the front one for the message to be written on. Its got a real spring feel to it has this card !!





Well baby is doing well !! Growing fast !!! How time flies she is now 4 weeks old !!! That means its 4 weeks since Xmas and 47 weeks to go to this Xmas !!! hehe Oh boy ............. Well I am getting on with my Xmas cards thanks to the Christmas card club !!!
