Thin and crispy..............

Hehe !!! Thin and crispy ........ the challenge is really think thin !!! This is the Christmas card clubs first card of the year !!! Set by Keryn !! Keryn girl I am thinking thin ............. got to get rid of the baby weight .......... ooh it must be working as  I now weigh less than when I got pregnant !!! Not bad for three weeks !!! hehe !!!

Well this was a real challenge for me  ........ not to layer up and add depth, ribbons, bows, flowers ............ yikes !!!! Anyway This was made using the Forever Friends Retro CD. Its brill !!! I used a rubber stamp sentiment and then just cut out the ends o make a banner !! Well it goes through the 5mm slot at the post office !!!

Birthday blues !

No no not being blue on your birthday its not allowed!!! Just a blue card !!! hehe !!! Well this week at C4E the challenge is a colour challenge, blues !!! Our sponsors this week are Stampin all day and The Digi garden so come and join us !!

This card is going to wend its way to my bessie mate, she doesn't look on here ...... Mmm some best mate !!! but good job hehe !!!  The image is LOTV and paper is from Nitwits. Not used this paper before but am loving it !! It will be used many times I am sure !!!

White on White Wedding

Well this time at Forever Friends the Fortnightly Challenge is a White on White card !! I knew exactly what I was going to do for this as soon as I saw the challenge !!! Our fantastic sponsors this week are Whimsy Stamps ! Come and join in the challenge !! Also check out the Monthly Challenge too, the DT have some great creations there !!

I used a Martha Stewart border punch for the lacy edging, a heart embossing folder to create texture on the card, Magnolia tag, flowers and a swirl and some gorgeous heart pins in the flowers !! I am really pleased with this card ! I started out on my first white on white card hating doing it .................... but I have to say I really enjoyed making this and really love the effect. Cant wait till my cousin gets wed in Sept so I can give it to them !!!

I love being married ....

The image I used is a couples image of Stella and Gus, the idea is its an anniversary card ....

Papers are from Nitwits, and image is coloured with promarkers, a bit of ribbon and the wording and voila !!! Mmm wish I could say it was that quick to make !!! It took me hours and hours to make this !!! My mind just wasn't on the job!!! But hey I got there in the end .......... I think !!! hehe !!! I made it the day my little girl flew to the USA to see her dad all by herself ........... still she got there and back all safe and had a great time !!!

Baby Isabella is doing great !!! Sleeping lots and giving lots of gummy kisses and cuddles !!!

Waiting for Santa

I love this card !!! The challenge this time for the Christmas Card club was by Carol and is Anything Goes ! I so enjoyed making this card, I actually made it for a challenge at C4E I had mis read !!!

The image is a House Mouse stamp, coloured using water colour pencils, I layered papers from Nitwits Simply Joy collection and added Christmas decorations, the tree, snowflake and stockings. The postcard stamps are Whimsy Stamps new letter to Santa, so as there are two mice I had to have their letters there too !!! I have to admit there is a lot going on in the card !!!

Waving Hello to 2012 !!

It sure looks like she is waving !!! hehe she just loves to move her hands around a lot !!!! hehe !!!

I just wanted to say an big thank you to you all for your lovely comments and emails. They are so very appreciated !!! My posts have been scheduled and are very generic so I just wanted to pop this one out here to thank you all !!

I wish you all a very very happy New Year, may 2012 bring you all as much joy as 2011 brought me. No you don't all have to have a baby !!! hehe !!!

True Friends

This week at Crafts 4 Eternity your challenge is to feature a quote. I love this stamp !!! Its a quote from Eleanor Roosevelt and the words are so lovely.

I used some heart lace that I bought two years ago and never used !!! I just dint want to cut it !!! I know........... but when its gone I cant get any more !!! Paper is a Nitwit one, I had to add bling and flowers !!! I was after a clean simple card so the words were the focus. I have used this stamp a few times before its one of fav's !!

So one more day left of the year !!! Just where did it go ???? Hope you all have a wonderful New Years Eve, don't drink too much !!! hehe !!! Well .............. Happy New Year to you all !!!
