I thought I would share a card I made for some very special ladies!
They have all got their cards now so I can share!!! lol!

I love this die from the Downton Abbey collection at Crafter's Companion!
You know me, pink and white!! 
Mmm ......... I feel a blue project coming on!! lol

Happy Birthday Dad!


Something very different from me today for Crafter's Companion!
A masculine card!!!! lol! I know it still has flowers! 
Some men love flowers! Honest! 

I had real fun with the new Card Base die to make this easel card!
It's so cool you can cut it as a folded card or as a shape
by turning the card around to cut the final piece of the shape!

To make my card I used the following:

Under the sea


Yay!! we have a new release at Heartfelt Creations!

I had fun making these Hibiscus flowers! 
I decided to make them double layered and removed 
the stamen from the bottom flower.

Did you notice I didn't use a sentiment? 
Sometimes it's fun to make a card with no sentiment,
they are so handy to have around and then
you can use them for any occasion and write inside your own words!

Lol Shall  I let you into a secret ..............
I made a card for this week and when I had finished it 
I realised I had used the wrong collection!!! lol!!! 
Shhh ............ don't tell!!

I made this card using:
HCST1-401 Flower Shaping Kit
HCDP1-266 Under The Sea Collection Paper Pad
HCPC-3736 Tropical Hibiscus Cling Stamp Set
HCD1-796 Tropical Hibiscus Die
ANC814 - Lettuce Entertain You prills
TSMP707 - Memento Bamboo Ink pad
TSMP602 - Memento Teal Zeal Ink pad

Other Products Used : White card, glue, glitter glue, 3D foam pads, 
Peeled Paint Distress Ink,

Watch this video HERE to to learn how to shape the Hibiscus flowers.

Cut a 6" x 6" tent fold card. Cut two card front panels from the paper pad. Cut the centre
from one and adhere the outer to the front of the card. Cut the patterned square from the
second card front and adhere with 3D foam pads to the front of the card. Take the centre
you cut from the fist card front and adhere with 3D foam pads to the card. Glitter the 
edges, patterns, fish, flowers and swirls. Stamp, cut, colour and shape your flowers and
leaves. Adhere prills to the flower centres and glitter the petals. Adhere the leaves
and flowers to you card and your project is complete.

Togetherness


It's Heartfelt Wednesday and I have made an Easel card with the Winking Frog collection!
Oh I had such fun adding to this scene! I can almost hear the violin play!
Shh ....... yes I Know you are thinking she is mad!!! lol!!! 
What I really loved making were the flowers in vellum! 
They look so effective, even hubby took notice of them!
Lol that's saying something!! lol!!

Other Products Used : White card, Peeled Paint Distress ink, glue, glitter glue, 
3D foam pads.

Using white cared make an easel card 7" x 5". Cut two matching card fronts from the paper
pad and adhere to the front of the card and the base. Cut a journalling panel from the 
paper pad and stamp the sentiment on it. Adhere to the base with 3D foam pads as the stopper
for the easel card. Fussy cut the centre of a card front and adhere to the centre of the
card front. Die cut from the paper pad the toadstool border and adhere with 3D foam pads
in front of the frogs. Stamp, cut, shape and colour the flowers and leaves. Adhere prills
to the flower centres. Adhere the flowers and leaves to the card. Die cut the leaping frogs
from the paper pad and the violinist. Adhere them to the card and your project is complete.

Birthday Gift Bag


Gosh I can't believe it's so long since I blogged!!
It's been a bit hectic here with hospital visits and appointments for Caitlyn.
But I finally got to craft!!! Yay!!!

I think this is a first for my blog!!! Lol!! 
I don't think I have ever decorated a pre-made gift bag before!
I know ........ why on earth not??? !!! 
I had great fun with this! I can feel another one coming on!! lol!

Thank you!


Here is a quick and simple card that I made for Crafter's Companion this week.
I had fun making the flowers using the emboss resist technique,
and yes I used yellow!!! lol NO PINK!!! lol!!!
