Friendship card


Something a little different from me today for my card for Crafter's Companion!
I got out my Spectrum AquaTints and Clear Sparkle pen and had a play!
Wow look at that sparkle!!


I used the sparkle pen and the same colour paint as flower for the layered paper too
Lol you know I like it all to match!! lol and yes it's pink!!! 
Well there is a few drops of blue too........ lol!!!

I had lots of fun making this! I thought they would look great as a set of note-lets as a gift!

To make the card I used the following:
AquaTint Pretty Pastels 25(Stem) 5(blue drops)

It's been a busy week for me looking after Caitlyn but it was so much fun
to sit down and make some water lilies! I imagine these frogs living in a 
pool down in Sugar Hollow with the Owls! Oh what a magical place it is !!

To make the card I used:

HCST1-401 Flower Shaping Kit
HCPC-3725 Water Lily Cling Stamp set
HCPC-3726 Fiddle'n Frog Cling Stamp set
HCD1-790 Water Lily Die
ANC821 Hot Mama Prills
TSMP800 Memento Rich Cocoa Ink
TSMP900 Memento Tuxedo Black ink

Other Products Used : White card, Peeled Paint and Victorian Velvet Distress ink, 
glue, glitter glue, 3D foam pads, gems, Spellbinders Heirloom Oval and large ovals dies.

Using a folded piece of white card Die cut the outer Heirloom die to create a easel card
base folding to top in half. Die cut a single piece and adhere to the folded card front.
Die cut two of the decorative dies and adhere one tot he base of the card and the other to the
front of the card. Ink and glitter the edges. Using paper from the paper pad die cut the 
large oval, stamp your sentiment and die cut in a smaller oval. Ink the inner of the smaller
oval and the edges of the larger oval. Adhere to the card with 3D foam pads. Die cut the 
frog from the paper pad and adhere to the card with 3D foam pads. Glitter the frog and 
umbrella and the edges of the ovals. Stamp, cut, colour and shape the flowers and lily pads.
Adhere prills to the centres of the flowers. Adhere the flowers and lily pads to the card 
and your project is complete.

Using a folded piece of white card Die cut the outer Heirlom die to create a card.
Die cut a single piece also and adhere to the card front. Using paper from the paper
pad die cut the decorative piece and adhere to the front of the card. Stamp the 
sentiment and die cut, ink the inner of the die with Victorian Velvet ink. Stamp,
cut, colour and shape the flowers. Die cut the stamens and adhere prills to the ends.
Adhere the stamens to the centre of the flowers. Stamp,cut and colour the swirls
and adhere to the card. Adhere the flowers and leaves to the card and your project
is complete.

Mother's Day




Here is my card this week for Crafter's Companion
I thought I would make some Mother's Day Inspiration, 
Here in the UK Mother's Day is on Sunday!! 

I embossed the card inside the easel and along the front but the light didn't pick it up 
so here is a close up of it! 


To make my card I was inspired by a card from Melanie at 
Crafter's Companion and this was my result.

You Inspire me!

Cut a 7" x 5" Tent fold card. Cut a card front from the paper pad and adhere to the 
front of the card. Cut a smaller card front and adhere to the card with 3D foam pads.
Stamp your sentiment and cut it out with the Cut Mat Create die. Ink the edges and the
inner of the die with the Morocco Ink. Adhere to the card with 3D foam pads. Cut a 7" x 5"
piece of paper and adhere to the inner of the card. Cut a journalling piece and a darker
piece of paper 1/4" larger than the journalling piece. Distress the edges of both pieces
and adhere to the inner of the card. Stamp, cut, colour and shape the flowers and leaves.
Adhere the leaves and flowers to your card, glitter the flowers and papers and your 
project is complete.

Wedding Card


For my card this week for Crafter's Companion I thought I'd make
another Mother's Day card ........... lol well it started out that way!!!
But I thought it would look great as a wedding card so it kind of changed!! lol
You could put a Mother's Day sentiment onto it too!!

So like I said in my last post more pink from me!!! lol!!!
This would look great in any colour to co-ordinate with a wedding colour!
I just love playing with dies!!

My Thoughts are With You.


Yay it's Heartfelt Wednesday and I can share my card with you for this week!!
My daughter and I had so much fun making lilies together!
Caitlyn made some blue and white ones!

I had so much fun layering die cuts on my card!
And of course it had to be white on white!! 
Lol you know me, this is my favourite style of card to make!!
No pink in sight though this time!!! lol!

Watch this video HERE to learn how to shape the Sunrise Lily flowers.

Cut a 6" x 6" Tent fold card. Die cut the border die along the edge of the inner side.
Fold the top side of the card in half to create the base of the easel card. Cut a 
6" x 6" piece of card and die cut the border along the top edge. Adhere to the folded
piece of the base of the card. Die cut two of the reflection die and adhere across the 
centre of the card with 3D foam pads. Die cut the Decorative die and adhere on top
of the other die cuts in the centre of the card with 3D foam pads. Stamp the sentiment
and die cut. Adhere with 3D foam pads to the card. Stamp, die cut, colour and shape the 
flowers and leaves. Die cut the centres and colour in green. Adhere prills to the ends 
and adhere into the flower centres. Adhere the leaves and flowers to your card and your 
card is complete.
