Xmas Dinner

Well I whipped up this card !

Like the pun ?? Lol !

Cooking card ..... whipped ..... oh ok its a rubbish joke !!

I used Nitwit papers, LOTV image and recipe stamps.

Flowers, punched leaves and those snowflakes are Xmas decs !!

I LOVE those snowflakes ! I bought a whole stash last Xmas to see me 

through the year in my card making !

Now I need more !!!

Right best go as I have a party to go to today !

Ok, Ok !!! So here we go ......

I did say I would post this pic if I was asked by enough of you !!

So ...... in mind it is nearly Halloween here is 

the pic of me dressed up at my party last year !!

Scary !!!

Its funny I hate having my pic taken so there are so few of them.

I have to make a concious effort to have some taken so there 

are some for the girls when they are older !

Phew its been a whirlwind of the last few days, 

no cards made BUT it was my birthday !!

So please forgive me for not posting.

Oh I was so spoilt!

So I thought instead of no posts I would share some pics

with you instead !

I had an amazing lunch at Jamie Olivers on my birthday,

and then SUPER time at the paper show !

Daren't admit how much I spent !!! 

But then its been in the cupboard for ages

cough cough !!

A big girls sweet shop !! lol !

Then a fantastic day out at the Coast.

Fish and chips at Whitby (pic below of me and my girls)

and then ......... my favourite ice cream.

Lemon Top at Scarborough !

And to top of all that my Aunt had me in tears yet again with her pressie!

I am such a lucky girl, love you Margaret xxx

Of course I had it unpacked and linked up as soon

as baby went to sleep !!!

Over at The Stamping Boutique

I made my card out of the digi image called Cupcake

I loaded it into my graphic program, increased the size

and then printed it by itself and on several different papers.

I had a go at paper piecing for the first time.

What a brilliant effect !

I also covered the frosting bit in glitter glue so it looks like frosting !

I then cut out the whole image I printed and adhered the pieces to it.

Attatching that to a tent fold card that fits just inside the cupcake.

Autumnal bag

The year is sure rolling by October already !

This week our challenge over at 

Polka Doodles is ...........

Yes you guessed it !!!

AUTUMN !

I used two CD's to make my scenic gift bag

Bonbon Belles    and      Sundea of Seasons

           

Just love them both !
I used a paper from Bonbon Belles for the background,
adding houses, characters, brown leaves and fences from the same CD.
The apple trees and pumpkins came from Sundea of Seasons.
I created an Autumnal scene for the front of my bag.
I love Autumn.

I used a die to make the shape of my bag,

I used my distress inks around the edges,

glittered up the houses with my Stickles,

and then added ribbon for the handles.

The images are all raised using foam pads from the background.

The main part of the bag is a white paper Kraft bag.

I just cut it down to fit inside my die cuts !

The photos don't do this justice, it was so hard to photograph !

More Witchie Treats

As promised yesterday here is the second project

I made for the challenge at The Stamping Boutique.

I'm loving making Halloween things this year !

Last year we had a big party

We all dressed up, maybe I can be talked into posting a pic of me !

One of the games was for the children to turn their mums

into Mummies with toilet roll !!!

I know I have made one of these before

but I LOVE them !!

It is a Coffin shaped treat box !

The template is on my Pinterest

I used the fantastic digi stamp

Smoochie Halloween set !

I coloured using promarkers and inked the edges of the sentiment.

You get the witch, cat and sentiment plus a few other things in the set !!

I made a treat box that is a Witches Shoe!

I'm not sure if my daughter is trying to pinch it because its cute

or for the chocolate !!!

Bet it is the Chocolate !!!

I used a template cut and adhered both the shoe and lining out.

You cant see it but the inner paper has Bats on it !!

I filled a cello bag with sweets, tied it with ribbon to match the shoe buckle.

I have to say I find sketches quite difficult.

But I did it !!

I decided to make it a clean and simple card. 

I used the following dies:

Marianne Creatable leaves

Marianne Swirl leaf

Marianne Anjas Sqaures

I cut the three hearts out of the corners of a Anja square die cut.

All edges are inked with distress inks and glittered.

I added flowers and pearls.

Hope you like it! I have to admit to struggling, sketches I find 

quite hard sometimes.
