Sassy Cheryl's Birthday Cake Card

I am so pleased with how this card turned out ! I just love Sassy Cheryls designs and have been itching to use the Cake Lady image ! Then I had an email to say she had a 20% sale on !!! So of course ............... I just had to get it and the No Calorie Birthday Cake image too !!!

I accented it by using Jolees cupcake 3D stickers .( I did swap around the cupcake liners tho so they all matched ) I also used the Cricut machine to cut the Happy birthday (from Beyond Birthdays ) and Birthday girl (from the Storybook cartridge). Of course I just had to add lots of gems to make it sparkle and the Diamond stickles glitter glue for the top of the cakes to give it an added dimention.

Hope my friend likes it, its for her birthday in 12 days time !

Card I Made for Grandma

I made this card for my Grandma, the pic is of her as a young woman, she is still only young at 92 !! She loved it when she opened it !!!

I used the Sentimentals cricut cartridge to make the frame, Martha Stewart trelis punch and the Sweet Treats cartridge for the flowers. I cut the leaves at 2 inches from Storybook !!

To make the flowers I cut 4 layers for each flower. The larger flower started at 1 3/4 inches decreasing a 1/4 inch each cut. The smaller flower started at 1 1/2 inches ! Cut a darker colour, a lighter colour of card and then two in the co-ordinating paper and fasten with a paper fastener !!
Hope you like it as much as she did !!

Happy 4th July to all Americans everywhere, have a great day.

House Mouse Birthday cards

Hi there !! I made these cards for a challenge, because I loved it so much a made one for a male and one for a female !! Great thing about the male one there is no age limit on it !!! Any age will like it !! I had to use the stamp, the cricut and the Design Studio to make the card with.

I coloured the stamp using watercolour pencils, I am by no means any good with copics yet ! I got the cricut out to cut the rectangles and wording; embossing the rectangles with my cuttlebug embossing folders and then used the DS to weld the wording to the side of my card. I used a contrasting colour for the insert to set off the wording on the side !

Hope you like it, thanks for looking.
