Money Wallet

Make a money wallet to give your gift of money in!
As promised on my Facebook Live over at Heartfelt Creations here are
all the measurements and instructions to make this money wallet.
You can rewatch this video too where I make this HERE

Here is what it looks like inside, the middle panel
is perfect for writing your message on!

To make the wallet follow these simple steps:

Step 1: Cut a piece of card 11 1/4" x 6 3/4" long and score at 3 3/4" and 7 3/4".

Step 2: On the shorter section place the border die and die cut to form
your opening flap. Fold along all the score lines.

Step 3: Cut the following pieces from the paper pad for the outer of the money wallet.
1 x 6 3/4" x 2" piece for the top
1 x 6 3/4" x 4" piece for the back centre
1 x 6 3/4" x  3 3/4" piece for the front lower section.

Fussy cut the chair and the bird house from a journaling piece from the paper pad.

Step 4: Cut the following pieces from the paper pad for the inner of the money wallet.
1 x 6 3/4" x 2" piece for the top
1 x 6 3/4" x 4" piece for the back centre
1 x 6 3/4" x  3 3/4" piece for the front lower section.
1 x 6 3/4" x 3 1/2" piece of white card
1 x 6 3/4" x 2" piece to go over the die cut white card for the pocket.
1 x Strip 6 3/4" long to go over the pocket.

Fussy cut the well from a journaling piece from the paper pad.
Cut the Birthday sentiment from the paper pad

Step 5: Adhere the outer pieces of paper to the card and stamp the sentiments.

Step 6: Adhere the two fussy cut images to the wallet front and
adhere pearls along the front flap.

Step 7: Adhere the pieces to the inner of the wallet and the fussy cut pieces
for the centre section.

Step 8: Die cut the white card for the pocket and adhere the paper
over the top and the strip over the top of that too. Glue the edges of this
piece to the bottom section of the wallet to make the pocket.

Step 9: Stamp, cut, colour and shape your flowers and butterfly
and adhere them to the money wallet.
See how to make your flowers HERE

All you need to do now is decided how much your gift is and who it's for!
This fits USA dollars as well as UK pounds!

I made this with the Classic Petunia collection HERE

Have fun!

Altered Photo Frames

I have been having lots of fun altering plastic photo frames!
So many fun things you can do with this and they make perfect gifts for Mother's Day!
I was so thrilled to be able to bring these to you LIVE on Heartfelt Creations Facebook page!
Make sure you keep a look out as I will be bringing more fun tutorials LIVE!

First I decorated this double frame using the Raindrops on Roses paper pad and
Sunkissed Fleurs from Heartfelt Creations. The front has a pocket for extra pics
and here on the back you can see a space to write a to and from style
message on the right panel. Then on the left I made another pocket
and it is full of journaling panels to write little messages on.

You know I just LOVE the Birds and Blooms collection so I had
to use it and found a Spring pic for this frame of me and my hubby.
Lol it's rare I have a picture taken and I have used two of me here on my post!
So don't like having my picture taken!!!!!

Next I made some Memo holders, this first one is a 6" x 4" size frame and I
decorated it with the Flowering Dogwood collection.
This is what I made and you can rewatch the live video HERE if you
wanted to see how to make one too!

Then I made another larger 7" x 5" memo holder with the Classic Sunflower collection
this time decorating the back too where you can add a message too.

Last but not least I had to use the roses I made and wore at CHA this year
on a frame of Emma Lou and myself!

I wanted to make a desk calendar too but I just ran out of time.....
but you could easily add a calendar to the front and decorate!

Have fun crafting!

opportunity to make it! lol! I imagined a little pooch in it!!!
Of course I had to make a card to go with it which I will share next week!

Here is the back..... I created a little pocket with the border die!

Make sure you stop by the blog and check out the projects
they are AWESOME!!!!

Heartfelt Creations

To make this bag I used the following:

HCST1-401 Flower Shaping Kit
HCDP1-272 Pampered Pooch Paper Pad
HCPC-3760 Paw-fect Pooches Cling Stamp
HCD1-7116 Paw-fect Pooches Die
HCPC-3656 Delightful Daisies Cling Stamp
HCD1-760 Delightful Daisy Die
ANC850 Spring Bling Prills (Lemon Chiffon)
HCD1-783 Border Essentials Die
TSMP800 Mement Rich Cocoa ink pad
159723 Art Institute Dries Clear glue

Other Products Used : Tool Edger, Spellbinders Grand and Large Circles, Glitter glue,
White and brown pen, Scattered Straw and Peeled Paint Distress inks, 3D foam pads.

Cut two pieces of contrasting paper together at the same time using the largest of the
Spellbinders Grand Circle dies and adhere them together. Repeat this step so you have two
circles with your chosen papers on the outer. Cut the base off the circles so that they
are 5 1/2" tall at the tallest point. Draw a faux stitching line around the outer edges
in brown ink. Glitter the paws with glitter glue. Using two dies together one from the
Grand Ovals and one from the large circle dies cut two pieces of brown paper from the pad
together to form the handle and adhere them together, drawing faux stitching in white pen
along the outer edge. Repeat this again for a second handle. Adhere to the outer of each
of the sides of the bag.

To make the box in the centre cut a piece of paper from the pad that co-ordinates with the
inside of the bag 11 3/4" x 8 3/4". Score 3" on all sides and then cut each corner piece
to form a tab. Fold and adhere together to form a box. Adhere the two sides of the bag to
the box.

For the front of the bag cut three pieces of different papers from the paper pad.
2 pieces at 4 1/4" x 4 1/4" and one at 3 3/4" x 4 1/2". Distress all the edges with the
edger tool and glitter. Cut the centre of one of the card panels and distress the edges
and glitter the edges and the image. Using 3D foam pads layer the make and three pieces
of paper and adhere to the bag. Stamp, colour, cut and shape the flowers and leaves.
Add prills the the flower centres and glitter the petals. Adhere to the card with a tag
sentiment cut from the paper pad. Stamp, cut and colour the bone and stamp the sentiment
in the middle. Adhere to the bag and glitter.

For the back of the bag create a pocket by cutting the picket fence border die in
the dark brown paper from the pad. Cut a piece of paper 2 1/2" x 8 " and adhere
the picket fence die cut to the paper. Put glue on the edges of the bag where the pocket
will be and place the paper over the side of the bag. Trim the excess away and draw the
faux stiching. Cut a tag and sentiment from the paper pad and adhere with flowers to
the bag handle. Adhere flowers and leaves to the pocket and the bag is complete.
Just add a gift and a note in the pocket!

Happy crafting everyone!

Thanksgiving Treats Tutorial

Today I have a tutorial for you that is featured on the Heartfelt Creations blog!
On how you can make this
lovely sectioned box which I thought would be great
on the Thanksgiving table with snacks inside.
OR as a gift full of treats to take if your going to
friends or family for Thanksgiving!!!

Heartfelt Creations

I made it using the Sunflower Collection from Heartfelt Creations.
It really is very easy and quick to make!!

To make this you will need the following supplies:

HCDP1 247 Classic Sunflower Collection paper pad
HCD 753 Classic Sunflower Die
HCPC  3626 Classic Sunflower PreCut stamp
HCPC 3545 Open leaf Stamp
HCD 736 Classic Leaf Die

Other supplies:
Score board and tool, Paper cutter
Scissors, Glue, Hot glue gun
Scattered Straw, Wild Honey Distress Inks (Flower)
Peeled Paint Distress Ink (Leaf)
Beads, Colouring pens, 3D foam pads
White and Brown Card

To make the box you will need :
1 x 12" x 12" white piece of card.
(you could make this from double sided papers and then you
would not need the squares and triangles of contrasting papers )

5 x 4" x 4" squares of paper (I used the spotty ones for this)
4 x 4" x 4" squares of the same paper as above and cut into triangles

4 x 4" x 4" squares of contrasting papers ( I used the yellow ones for this)
4 x 4" x 4" squares of the same papers as above and cut into triangles.

Take the 12" x 12" piece of card and this is the pattern you will score
on the card to make the box

First score 4" and 8" along on one side.
Then turn the paper so those score lines are horizontal and score
again at 4" and 8" down the card. So you have 9 4" squares on your card.

Now score diagonally along the four corner squares.
This is the fiddliest part of the whole project!
Start at the inner corner and gently find a line to score on.
Bring the outer point in line with the score line and score.

Fold along all the score lines, folding the corners so
that the fold comes inwards towards the project

This is how the folds should look like now.

First we will decorate the inside of the box.
Take the 5 4" x 4" sqaures

Adhere them to the four outer squares that aren't scored diagonally.

Now take the 8 triangles cut from four 4" x 4" sqaures

Adhere the triangles to the diagonally scored sqaures

Adhere the 5th square to the centre of the box inner and
your card should look like this.

Now turn the card over and decorate what will be the outer of the box.
Adhere the 4 x 4" x 4" squares to the card
The middle will be left white as this is the base of the box.

Adhere the 8 triangles cut from the 4 4" x 4" squares.

There are two ways we can bring this together as a box.
This is how I did it on my box.

Fold the Diagonally scored corners into the centre of the box and
hot glue them together. Hold them in place until the glue cools and sticks.

I then hot glued the leaves and a flowers on the top of the join
to cover up the hot glue and to make it stronger.

The second way is to tie the corners together.
Punch a hole on each corner on the score line.

Thread ribbon through the holes and tie together in the centre.

When the top is secure all that remains is to decorate it!

For my box I cut out two each of two of the journalling panels from the paper pad.
I cut the larger one down to the same size as the smaller (one on the left of the above pic)
piece and cut brown card 1/4" larger than the papers.
Adhere the paper to the card using 3D foam pads;
and to the sides of the box with 3D foam pads
alternating the papers as you go around the box.

Make the flowers, I have a tutorial HERE on how I made them.

Stamp and Die cut three of the larger leaves from the Classic leaf stamp set.
(These go on the top of the box)
Colour using Peeled paint ink. Gently ink over the leaves first and then
go around the edges with heavier ink to create shading.
Lastly Shape the leaves.

Adhere the flowers to the box.

Colour the ladybirds (they were on the sunflower stamp)
Shape them and adhere to the box and your project is complete.

Hope you have fun making this !
Happy crafting.
