This week over at Polka Doodles the challenge is

To Die for.

We would love to see your projects using die cuts.

I made my card shape using my Spellbinder dies.

The image is actually two images merged together

From the amazing Frederica CD.

Papers and sentiment are also from the CD.

For my flowers I used a Marianne die LR0111,
the leaves and swirl are also Marianne dies are 

I edged them with distress inks and 

added sticklers glitter for some pizzaz!

Spring at last!

I have made a desk tidy and a card !

The challenge this week over at Polka Doodles is ....

PRETTY PASTELS 

To me spring is the pinks, purples, of tulips and crocus's; yellow of the daffs ...

Oh how I love spring !

So I decided to use this lovely paper

from Cherry Blossom Lane CD

to cover some boxes.

I used a Punch to make the edges look pretty,

and added some ribbon!

Caitlyn came home, saw it and now she has it in her room !!

Mmm.........

I also got inspired by a card my blog friend Katina made this week.

A CAS card.

Spring is when daisies start to grow so I made a CAS card too.

Place Card

Ok, I got inspired by the challenge this week at Polka Doodles 

making something other than a card 

and I so love the new Fredericka CD. 

That I got playing and came up with this place card. 

I thought that I would try to use something 

I had in the house that was for another purpose. 

This is made from a Bulldog clip really used for clipping papers together !  

I covered it in paper and cut out one of the pre-coloured images from the CD (re-sizing). I added some bling, tied some ribbon in a bow at the back of the place card (after all some-one sees the back!). 

For the name card I used a Spellbinder die cutting it out over a printed picture and name, 

used distress inks, added a butterfly and voila ! VERY quick to make and so easy !

My daughter loves it !! 

Infact she saw and wanted to make one too !!!

which of course she did.

Watering Can boxes

This week the challenge over at Polka Doodles is ...

ANYTHING BUT A CARD !

So I had a look around my discs and various

templates I could find and this is what I came up with.

Watering can gift boxes

I made the one with the purple handles first to test the template.

ooh it was sooooooo easy to make.

I used the beautiful paper from the CD Back to Nature

It really didn't need anything else adding to it !

Then I decided to go wild and do one I could decorate with my dies !

this time  I used a beautiful blue paper with butterflies on.

From the CD Cherry Blossom Lane

The idea being it would look like the butterflies were flying in the sky

to go with my "picutre" I created around the can.

I used various Marianne dies to create the effect.

Bird and Grass from LR0204

Ivy and Bird House from LR0206

Of course I had to use my Stickles to glitter up the butterflies

and add gems for pizzaz !

Lets Party !!

Well I started out thinking I would make a coaster ........

totally not what I made !!

I am not even having a party !!

But I thought I would have a go at a center stepper card.

And I love the papers and images

from the CD Fredericka so much.

All the papers are from the CD and I used all

of the pre-coloured images on the CD too.

Fence and grass are Marianne Dies.

I cut the bunting by hand, not sure why as I have three different dies

I could have used !!! Ah well !!!

The windows I coloured using my pro-markers and then

put the paper curtains over them.

Hope you like it !!

My daughter saw it and now wants them as party invites

for her birthday ............. what did I start !!

New Home

Oh boy have I had fun !!!

I should warn you keep scrolling down there are lots of photos !

My God-daughters and their family have just moved house.

Well they are renovating a house so are in a caravan at the moment !

So ..... I thought this weeks Polka Doodles challenge New Home was fitting for them

when they finally move out of the garden and into the house !!

I made a Box and a card !

First the card ..... 

I used the Stampies from the CD All Around and Everywhere.

Both the houses and tree Stampies.

To make them large enough to make a card with I enlarged 

the view on them and used the printing option of current view.

I used double sided foam to give dimension, 

I also cut out doors and window boxes to help the dimension.

Of course I had to glitter it up using my Stickles !

The doors, roofs, window boxes and bits of the trees all got glittered !

The fence is a Marianne die.

I basically layered all of these onto a rectangle card!

Secondly I made a box ! 

Again I used the CD All around and Everywhere for the images.

The paper I used from the CD Picknix 1.

I just love how the words look like clouds !

Again I used foam to layer up the images, the Marianne die for the fence,

a Martha Stewart Punch for the edge of the lid.

The tag and leaves on top were both made using  Marianne dies. 

Flowers are Prima with gems added !!

 When I showed these to my other half he just went "WOW"

Even though I say it myself I love these !!!

Brown and Pink

The challenge this week at Polka Doodles is ....

A colour Challenge and yes you guessed it

its Brown and Pink !!!

Oohhhh I used ...............

the new Fredricka Collection for both the image, paper and sentiment!!

I used Spellbinder dies for the oval and border,

(I cut up a square die cut to make the border !)

Marianne Dies for the leaves, gems and some distressed inks.

Soo........... I got carried away again just loving this new release and made another card !
This time I used a pre-coloured image, again the sentiment is from the CD.

This time I used Distress Inks, Spellbinder (Card and sentiment)
 and Marianne Dies (Flowers and leaves)
Pearl gems and glittered up the flowers with Stickles!

Ok I got really really carried away and made a third card !!
I used all the same products for this card as the ones above !
I started printing the papers off the CD and just fell in love with them !!

Valentines

 Its Valentines day very soon ......

So the Challenge this week at Polka Doodles is...

You guessed it !!

Valentines Day !!

I got carried away and made two cards !!! 

I used the LOVE AND CHERISH CD....

Oh boy its gorgeous, hence the two cards !

I was so spoilt for choice ! 

It was purely time available that stopped me from making more !!

The first card I made was a very clean and simple one.

I used a paper from the Boundless Love section,

some ribbon and a Diamante Buckle, 

a sentiment and voila !

The second card I made I used papers from

The Two of us and Cherish sections of the Cd.

Image and paper ribbon from The two of us Section.

I also used Marianne dies for the hearts and leaves.

Added a few flowers, some Stickles glitter glue 

and again voila !

Monochrome at Polkadoodles

Ok, breath slowly Liz ...........

nope it not gonna work .............

So ........ 2013 has started with a big bang !

I will be honest I all most gave up card making for good !!

Phew thank you Nikki for giving me just what I needed to get going !!

For my card  I used the CD Not for girls, 

a Marianne die for the leaves called Open Flowers

I made the flowers, used some ribbon and glitter glue from my stash !

C4E Challenge - Follow a Sketch

Hi there Ladies !! This is my first card as a designer for Crafts 4 eternity, I am so thrilled to have joined the team !! Two other lovely ladies have joined the team too Sarah and Anne - Katrine. Go check out all the ladies blogs they are listed on my sidebar !

I just got hold of the new Polkadoodles Magical Winter CD so I just couldnt wait to use it !!! The image and papers I chose are from CD1 and is Granny Baker. I cut her out and decoupaged her up adding glitter along the way of course !!! I added

bling and flowers and some other bits I cut from other images printed on the sheet. The Punches I used for the leaves and the white flower edging are both Martha Stewart ones and the ticket stamp is from Lili of the Valley.
