Clare's set of cards challenge !!

Well its time for our Christmas card club challenge !!! This time Clare set the challenge and got us all busy !!! She asked us to do a set of 4 cards, either matching or not. I decided to do quick simple cards as I had been asked for some cards to pop flat in the post !! Skin flint !!!

I found the lovely die cut of the holly on ebay and added red berry dots to it. Papers are from Nitwits and the sentiment is from the internet too. (I'm no good at coming up with those things !!)

Next time its Vickies challenge and she has asked us to have either snow or a snowman on our card !!

Well as its Sunday I'm cooking a roast dinner. Yum Yum !! Might have to whip up a pudding too !!

Recycled ................

Hi there well its that time again for our Christmas card gang card ! This week it was Hazels turn to set the challenge and what a great one it was !!! To use either freebie stuff from magazines or something recycled !!! You can check out all of the card by visiting the gangs blogs found on my sidebar !! Of course if anyone wants to join in the fun email one of us !!

I made my card using a recycled Christmas card and the silver snowflakes are from the Christmas tree decs box I have raided !!!! All the papers are out of my scrap box too so I guess that can be counted as recycled as I didn't use any fresh ones !!! (maybe) I did add loads of glitter to the image for the snow, it sure is sparkling away sat here in the conservatory with the sun catching all the glitter on it !!!

Well I hope you all had a safe and fun bonfire night !! We did !! We stuffed ourselves infront of the bonfire with homemade parkin and bonfire toffee, yum yum !!! Oh yeah and the usual baked potato, mug of soup and hot dog roll !!!! Me still full now !!!!

Well it was my turn to set the challenge for the Christmas card gang a Sketch; and this is my card.

I got this stamp a few months back and its just sat there on my desk screaming to be used, so here it is !!! Yes a House Mouse image !!! LOVE em !!! The music stamp is from LOTV (I glittered the edges but not sure it comes out on the pic!) I coloured the image using water colour pencils, used loads of glitter on it for the snow and berries, but look no other bling !!! Papers are from Nitwits, yes I am using them again cos I just love these ones !!! hehe !!! I don't have a Xmas border punch so I improvised and used a holly punch and glues them along the edge of card !!!

Hi there all. Its been a very very busy and stressful week for my Aunt and I. My Grandma is in hospital with damage to a 20 year old hip replacement. Theatre is the only option which is scheduled Tuesday. She is 93 and has a heart that beats irregularly ............ its going to be a tough day Tuesday hoping she gets through it.

Anyway I did manage to make a card, it wasn't what I set out to do !!! I just couldn't concentrate and then my printer decided to start doing weird things !!! Great that's all I need, I had to buy a new freezer this week (just as I was preparing things for the freezer for Xmas !!! ), the car has got damaged, Gran in hospital ................ I could so do with a Gin & tonic !!! No I know I cant with baby !!!!

The image is a Tatty teddy one and I borrowed my wonderful Aunts bauble nesties. I glittered up the image and made the bauble look like it was hanging. I used my Marianne Star dies again to make tho beautiful embellies !!! I just love them !!! I added glitter along the edges of the outer bauble and papers to give that sparkle !!!

Anyway hope you like it !

White On White ......

Mmm ok I made one !!!! It took me a month to think about this and I started it last night finishing it off today. There's so much glitter on it it took all night to dry !!!! So thanks Margaret for the challenge ........... it sure was one !!!

This card is for our Christmas card gang, we challenge each other every two weeks to make a Christmas card. Check out the other ladies cards on my side bar !!

So I used 1 white card !!! glittered the edges and then placed a smaller square using foam mount to give a raised effect on the card. I used a snowflake embossing folder and placed that raised onto another white card glittered around the edge. The idea was to give definition ........... My old faithful Cricut machine came into use for the wording which I smothered in Stickles !!! Again I used foam pads to raise it so you could see it !! BUT what I really love on this card are the stars and flowers !!

These are the new Marianne Bauble dies. I cut them and smothered them in Stickles (told you I had loads of glitter to dry last night!!!) used small flowers and then a leaf punch from Martha Stewart placing them all in the middle of the dry star !! so while I may not have liked WOW I will be using these stars on my cards again !! (in fact don't be suprised if there isn't one on the next post !!) I did however get to use up loads of white bits of card I had accumulated on my desk !!

Well I had a great morning at Harrogate craft show with my wonderful Auntie, the ribbon came from there but everything else I already had stashed !!! Would you believe I only bought card blanks !!! Oh yes and a Spellbinder die !!!! hehe !!

Hi there all, its time for another card for the Christmas card gang !!! This time our challenge was set by Sylvie. She challenged us to make a card with mistletoe on !! Mmm ...... I searched through my things and didn't find much so I chose this forever Friends image. Great challenge thanks Sylvie, now my craft room needs a tidy to put back all my things for looking for something with mistletoe on !!! hehe !!!

Of course I got the glitter out and glittered up the hat, and tree and star !!! Blinged the snowflakes (Martha Stewart punches) and used a tag stamp from I think Whimsey Stamps !

Our next challenge is set by Margaret to use only white and some glitter .............. yikes I have no idea !!! NEVER made an all white card before so it sure is going to be a challenge !!! Xmas card club challenge card - Kerry's !!

Well I had to think on this one I have to say ............. then I went shopping !!! hehe !!! Well I had to go shopping to soothe quell my patience for a Tatty teddy CD!!!! Ooohhhh can't wait to get hold of one !!! But in the meantime I settled for the new Fizzy Moon Festive Fun stamps !!! LOVING them !!! Kerry's challenge was for a robin, holly and possibly a postbox if desired ! So I have a robin sat on the fence and holly on the paper and around the flowers !!! No postbox desired tho sorry !!!

I coloured Fizzy Moon with promarkers and water colour pencils. The bears used Satin, Sandstone and the blender pen to create the lighter patches. Of course I had to glitter up the snow too !!!

I used my new Spellbinder square die, the swirl is from Marianne dies, holly is a Martha Stewart punch and flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts also glittered up!! Paper is Holiday Magic from Nitwits and the sentiment stamp from Liliy of the Valley !! Phew ................. Oh yes I had to add bling too !!!!

Hi there all. Well this time it was Sally's turn to set the challenge which was to have Santa on your card !! Super I thought I knew straight away which image I was going to use !!! Its one from Sassy Cheryls. Loving her images !!!

The hard part was searching for papers !!! All my papers are still in the USA so it was a days trawl through the internet to find papers I wanted to use !!!! I found lots of lovely ones it was so hard to choose !!!! Anyways I finally settled on Nitwits - Holiday Magic set.

The stamp sentiment is from Lili of the valley and I used a Martha Stewart punch for the snowflake. Ooh and of course I had to glitter Santa up too !!!

Our next Challenge has been set by Kerry and her challenge is to use a Robin, Holly and a postbox is optional ........... Mmm thinking cap on I think and a trawl through my stuff !!!!

Pinky's Christmas Card Club Challenge Card

Hi there all !!! Can you believe it two weeks have already passed and its time for our Christmas card club card again !!!! This time Pinky set the challenge, a teddy on your card !!! So ........... of course I set to work using my Forever Friends images !!!!! I have to say it was hard to choose the image tho, there are so many cute ones !!!!

I had been looking at various challenge sites and saw a few cards made using the Grand Calibur making apetures ............... so I thought I would have a go too and got out my Go-Kreate dies once more !!!!!! It was much easier than it looks and a little different !

I used Martha Stewart's snowflake punch with gems added for pazzaz and glittered up the image to make it snowy.

Well ladies here is my offering for the challenge I set. The challenge was no printed papers, you could make your own from stamping !!! I find the papers are the first thing I reach for these days and its just not so easy to not use them !!!

The image is a LOTV one I glittered up and the snowflakes are a Martha Stewart punch (My lovely auntie lent it to me !!! YES she got it back !!!) with a gem added to the centre for some pazzaz !

Well I just got the buzz for getting some cards under my belt so I made some more of a previous design I have listed on my blog but these too don't use printed papers so I thought I would share !!! I tried different colours for different effects !

Xmas card club challenge card !!

Well ladies here is my offering !! Red, Green, White and a reindeer was the challenge. I used green card, red poinsettias and white base of the card. A simple card but I really like it !! I used one of my purchases from Doncaster on it; the spellbinder fancy tag, loving them !!!

The design is from Sassy Cheryls, poinsettias from Wild Orchid Crafts and that's about all !!

Well its my turn for setting the challenge me thinks. So ..................... the challenge is no patterned papers, you can how ever make your own papers from rubberstamping .............. so have fun ladies !!

Well I will be round later to see everyones cards but right now I have my partners children coming over for a BBQ !! Hope the rain holds off !!! Have a great sunday !!!

Hi there all !!! sorry for my late posting I have been out visiting family !

I coloured Tilda using my promarkers in pink as the challenge is pink, white and a colour of my choice !!! As the tree has to be green my colour was chosen for me by the design I used !!! I did put this together rather quickly ............. in fact nothing is stuck down !!!! hehe !!! I know .......... but I have been absent blogging the last two weeks as I have been trying so hard to keep awake and failing !!! I think the sleep fairy is sprinkling me with sleepy dust !!!

Christmas Card Club card - Keryns Challenge

Hi there everyone !!! Well it was so nice to sit at my desk yesterday and make a card ! I havent been able to just spend time making and playing properly for a while ......... well ok at least a week !!! hehe !!!

Keryn set the challenge this time and she provided a table for us to choose one thing out of each column. I chose poinsettia, red and ribbon to make my card from. The card is cut using a Marianne Die, LOTV image and sentiment, poinsettias from Wild Orchid crafts and I used a Martha Stewart puch for the holly. Out came the glitter glue and Bob's your uncle !!! Well actually he's not but he is my cousin !! Thanks Keryn for a great challenge I really enjoyed it. Go see the other ladies creations, you can see the gang listed on my sidebar !

The next challenge is set by Sylvie and its to use pink !!! Lovely !!! I just love the cards I have seen in the past for Christmas using pink and one other colour of our choice plus white ! So thinking cap on me reckons !!!

Hi ladies well here is my card following Sally's super Sketch !!! For the next fortnight we are following Keryn's Challenge Have a look !! In fact pop over and vist all the CCC girls they are listed on my side bar and see what great cards they made, just loving them ladies !!! Oh yes and for those lucky enough to have gone to Ally Pally hope you had a great time !!!!

My card image is LOV and the papers are Pink Petticoat, stamp by Whimsy Stamps and snowflakes are Martha Stewart punches I borrowed from My Aunt ........... Yes I gave her them back !!! hehe !!!

Christmas Card Club Card

Hi here !! Well I joined the ladies in the Christmas Card gang, we make a card to a sketch each fortnight, here is the sketch we followed this time set by Pinky !! If you would like to join contact Clare who will give you all the details !!!

My card is a Lili of the Valley image off their new sheets. I am waiting for my craft stuff to be sent from the USA so I have limited things ................. I could only get so much stuff in my suitcase when I came home !!! Mmm might have to go shopping again !!!! The papers are Nitwits, border punch by Martha Stewart and Pointsetta flowers from Wild Orchids. I glittered up the dress and stars and of course the flowers, added a bit of bling and there we go !!! I have also entered it into the Saturday Challenge, Christmas in spring have a look see !!
