The Magic of Christmas

Its time for another Christmas Card club challenge.

Two weeks has gone by so fast !

This week Hazel chose the challenge and she challenged us to ....

"Something beginning with S"

So........ I decided to make a Shaped card

and use a Sentiment.

I used Spellbinders Mystical Embrace die for my card

and I used three card fronts from 

the Festive Christmas Collection from Heartfelt Creations.

I used one for the inner

and I layered up two of the same card fronts for the front.

The sentiment is from the  Heartfelt Creations Holly Berry set.

Poinsettias are from the Bebunni Xmas CD

and I used the holly die from Die'sire for the holly.

Christmas Box

Well it was my turn over at the Christmas Card Club

to set the challenge .........

My teamies on Heartfelt Creations say 

I like my boxes ....... well guess what they are right !! hehe !!

So my challenge had to be make anything other than a card !

And of course I had to make a box !!

Here it is open .........

I got one of my snowflake tree decs on it !!

You can just see it on the top left !!

Papers are Nitwits, image LOTV, Spellbinder Lacey square die,

Die'sire Holly die and poinsettias are from the Bebunni CD.

I chose this image as it has present on it and being a box for a present ........

I thought I would make it so it matched the last Christmas card 

I made for the Christmas card challenge.

It sort of goes ...........

Oh and I made a Cracker !!

As I was tidying away I found some Cracker die cuts in my stash.

So I thought I would decorate it up

as I had left overs from my box !

I thought I would pop a pair of ear-rings 

in it for Caitlyn on the tree.

O' Christmas Tree

Over at the Christmas Card Club Sylvie challenged us to .....

USE A XMAS TREE !

So .... I thought I'd use up another of my LOTV images.

I bought so many of them !!

Oh and yes ladies its those snowflakes again !!!

Well I do have a lot of them that need using so I can buy more !!!

They are actually Xmas decs !

The Holly is from the Die'sire Holly die, Poinsettias I made 

from the BeBunni CD and sentiment is from

Gingerbread Twist CD from Polka Doodles !

I like this fold, its very easy to make!!

Oh and of course I had to add some gems and glitter!

Blingtastic !!! hehe

Waiting for Santa

I just love this image and up to now I haven't had

a chance to use it !! 

Its time for another Christmas Card Club challenge.

This week Sue P set us the challenge 

to have a teddy in our projects !

This little boy is cuddling his teddy,

looking out of the window on Christmas Eve,

waiting for Santa !!

I used Heartfelt Creations papers from the Christmas Card Paper Pad.

The flowers are Marianne poinsettias and the swirls are Cheery Lynn.

The image is LOTV !

Yes its time for the Christmas Card Club Challenge again !

Two weeks sure fly by !!

Thankfully I had this already made .......... my hand

is still not right, a little better but not at the point I dare

do lots of crafting !!! Going to try cutting something out today ....

 I'm trying very hard to be good !

And those that know me well ........ its not easy!!! hehe 

This time it was Carol's turn to challenge us and she chose

PENGUINS !!!

Well I had to have a real good search I couldn't think of anything !!

Then I recalled my Polka Doodles Cd's !!!

Yeah !! I found this image on Magical Winter 1

I used Spellbinders die Mystical Embrace for the card.

I LOVE this die !!!

I decoupaged the Image and added glitter glue on the snow.
The poinsettias as Marianne Dies and the swirls are Cheery Lynn
that I cut up and poked (technical term!!! ) into the flowers !!

Christmas Nativity

Its time to share a Christmas card Club card !

A group of us get together every two weeks and share our cards we have made

to the challenge on of us has set !!!

This week the Challenge was set by Sue and she

challenged us to make cards with the theme NATIVITY.

Here is my card!

I used Heartfelt Creations Christmas Card Collection papers

and sentiment for the card front; LOTV image;

WOC flowers, Heartfelt Creations Raindrops on Roses

circle die layered upon Spellbinders Adorning Squares.

Of course I had to glitter it up !!

Its time for a Christmas Card Club card again !!
This week Karen challenged us to use Poinsettias.

I made another shaped card ! 

I used a Marianne die to make it.

and the holly is a Martha Stewart punch.

I used Stickles to glitter up the image!

Christmas in Black and white

Hope you have a great day planned, 

we are going for a family dinner !!!

YUM ! I love Sundays we always have a big dinner

together. Something we always did as Children

with my Grandma. Then as she got older we did it for her.

Now we still carry on the tradition and hopefully

one day my girls will be doing the cooking !!!

So........

This time it was Karen's turn to set the challenge.

Now looking at it to write up my post its Black White and another colour !!

I guess the silver colour of the gem on the poinsettia could let me off the hook ???

I used a Sizzix embossing folder for this.

A rubber stamped sentiment, swirl from Cheery Lynn

and a Marianne Poinsettia die.

Christmas Light

Its time to share a Christmas card again with 

the Christmas Card Club !

This week it was Asha's turn to set the challenge

and she asked us to make a card

using light, candles, lamps, fairy lights etc.....

I used this gorgeous LOTV image and made

a pocket tag card again !
I LOVE these cards !

The paper I used is Nitwits Simplejoys.

Poinsettias from WOC and sentiment is LOTV.

Hehe it's only two weeks to Easter and here I am getting

ahead with my Christmas cards !! Whoop whoop !

Well I do have tons to do at Christmas its my

little girls birthday Christmas Eve 

which really put the pressure on !!!

make a CUTE Christmas card.

I thought I'd make a shaped card ........ I love shaped cards !

Sometimes I forget to make them tho !

The image and sentiment are from LOTV, flowers from WOC,

papers are from Nitwts, Martha Stewart border punch and holly.

The swirl is a Marianne die.

Fairy Wings

Its time for a Christmas Card club card !

I missed the last one set by Margaret due to my OH

grandson being so ill he had to have an emergency operation .......

Thankfully he is well now and home from hospital !

So I have the card to share for Margaret's challenge on here too.

But first things first !!!

This week the challenge was  set by Christine and she challenged

our little group to make a card using WINGS ! 

I chose to use this LOTV fairy image, they all have little wings!

I made a tag pocket card using Nitwit Papers, 

Spellbinder dies, Martha Stewart punch and 

those gorgeous Poinsettias are from WOC.

I glittered the image up with Stickes

but it was such a sunny day when I took

the photo I'm not sure you can see it very well !!

Right........... the card I made for the previous challenge!

Margaret set us the challenge to use a ROBIN !

This image is from Flower Soft,

I bought it a few years ago at a craft fair on sale

and never used it until now !!!

I know, I know !!! tut tut !!! hehe !

The poinsettia is a Marianne Die, Cheery Lynn swirl

and the card is made from Spellbinders Radiant Rectangles.

Sorry Margaret that its so late !

Better late than never they say !!!!!

Its time for the Christmas Card Club challenge !!

It was Hazels turn to choose the theme.......

White on White &/ snowflake

Look NO Xmas tree dec snowflake !! Yikes !!
And I had a legitimate chance to use one lol !!!

To make this I used the Nobel Rectangles dies from Spellbinders.

Its so pretty but boy the bigger one is so hard to cut.

I put it in my Grand Calibur and rolled it through three or four times at an angle .....

Still the effect is worth it !!!

See those snowflakes peeking behind  the poinsettia !

They are a Martha Stewart Punch.

Poinsettia is a Marianne Die and swirl is Cheery Lynn.

Caitlyn told me I should have inked the edges ........ 

Told her not the effect I wanted !!! Bless her!!

Not sure I like this now .........

Ah well!!! lol!!!

Have a heart at Christmas

Its time for the Christmas Card Club to share our cards again !!

Wow two weeks went by so fast !!

This time it was Mary's turn to set the challenge and it is .....

Feature a heart on your card or the colour red.

Well ........ I hadn't a clue what I was going to make

when I finally sat down to make it !

I started off with thinking it was only a heart I needed and 

not seen the red bit !!! Dur ... READ things Lizzie !!!

Anyways ......... a poinsettia, and a sentiment ....

then I thought I would use heart gems ........

Oh no I stopped there as I found the heart pins !!!

So that's why it ended up very simple.

I know not my style at all but I seem to be drawn to it

at the moment !!

Right well better get on with my Sunday,

Lunch to cook, yummy Yorkshire puddings !!

I stopped making them as I just couldn't get them right.......

THEN I got the Pampered Chef Muffin stoneware...

WOWZER !!! They are huge !! lol!!

So think of me eating them cold later on too with Golden syrup on !!
I know I heard that groan ............ But I love them !!! lol !!

Cooking up a storm!

Its my turn over at the Christmas Card Club to set the challenge.

I choose anything food related !!

Although after all that food at Christmas

I really am so not into food at the moment !!

I made another open box, I loved the last one so much !

I used Nitwit papers, Martha Stewart border punch and ribbon !

I also finally got around to using my Memory Box die ......

I have had it sat in the cupboard for far too long !!

The image is From the  Crafters Companion CD Makey Bakey.

Loving that CD !!! 

I chose that image as I am going to make mini Christmas 

cakes for my neighbours this year !!!

I also decorated the back so that I can write on a message for the recipient.

I made a tag, I was running out f time and needed something quick !

I inked the edges with Distress inks and glittered them up.

Punched a hole and added ribbons !!

Well its nearly Christmas .............. better go wrap some 

pressies !!! I haven't even started to write cards !!

Oohhh It will soon be Christmas !!!

Pretty in Pink

This week the challenge set by Carol is

PRETTY IN PINK

at the Christmas Card Club.

This is a group of ladies who

just want to get ready for Christmas and make our cards !

It means come December we have all our cards ready........

Well that's the theory !! lol!

So, I thought I would use my new Sillhouette for this

and made a Christmas box.

Papers are Nitwits, pink with snowflakes

The snowflake tree dec makes another appearance !!

The glitter holly I got from The Range a couple of years ago,

I just cut it all down.

I tinged the poinsettia pink and then added glitter glue

over the poinsettia and around the edges of the base and top of the box.

Added ribbon and voila !

I always make Peppermint Creams for Christmas

so I thought this would make a nice box for them as

a present for someone who likes pink !

but not sure as I made this ages ago to be honest !

Well this card I hope is ok as its got a cat on it but its not the main feature .....
