3 Times something is ...............

This week at C4E the challenge is to use three of something on your project !! This card has three different papers, three roses, three swirl die cuts and three gems !!!

Papers are nitwits and the image is LOTV. I love these swirl die cuts they are a memory box die and cut so lovely. The stamped tag is from the Unmounted stamp company. I just got the oval ones of these and cant wait to use them !!

Kitchen Delights !!!

This week at C4E the challenge is to create something with a Kitchen theme !! I just so happened to be working on Caitlyns scrapbook so I made this page to go in for her !!! We were baking ginger oat cookies !!! Yes they were YUMMY !!! hehe !!! The paper is one from my stash I got over from the USA from Hobby Lobby I think !!!

Colour inspiried

Well, something a little different this week from me !! At C4E the challenge this week is a colour one. I happened to be looking at my beads and thinking of this challenge so I decided to make a necklace and earings than a card ! I'm sure it will wing its way to my friend soon !!! The beads are a semi precious stone, Russian Serpentine. Green with natural colourings and markings making them quite stunning, so with a bit of wire work and threading voila !!

Mothersday

Over at C4E this week our challenge is Mothersday ! Its not long now !! Well I used Tatty Teddy Spring Cd again for this challenge. I just love these papers and images !!! I also decided to get my Cricut out and dust it off !! Mmm I wish I hadn't bothered !! It took me 2 hours to get a correctly cut word "Mother" !

Anyway I did eventually succeed ........ I made a card and a box and a gift tag. I edged the lid of the box with a punch to give it a more interesting edge than just square. The flowers are from bridal confetti from the USa with added bling !! So all ready for Mothers day now !

Wow another week has breezed by !!! Half term too so its been a a busy busy one !!!
This week at C4E the challenge is to use a lock and key on your creation ! I used them as charms on my card. The papers are from a pad called Spring Fiesta .............. I am just loving it !! Image is a LOTV one. I used a Spellbinder die to create the border (its the square die and I cut it into pieces to make the effect of a border punch !! I also used the die behind the image but on an angle. The paper really sets this card off so it didn't really want too much fuss adding !!!

Well best go as I am off visitng friends today and have a long drive ........ I hope there is no snow due today !

How old ????

That's a question we don't ask !!! hehe !!! Wow a week has gone by and its time for the C4E challenge again !!! This week the challenge is a colour one and is Raspberry Delight. Pop on over and check out the other DT cards !

Well I used my Hero Arts stamp again on this card, I am just loving having it back !!! I really must get the thank you one too ........... my list is getting longer and longer and the cash less and less !!! hehe !! I also used the yummy scrummy Memory Box die elegant scrollwork to create the border and under the flowers. Oh wow it cuts so fantastic for such fine work ! I will be using it again and again !!! Papers are by Nitwits, hopefully I will get my box of papers from the USA when my daughter comes back from her visit to the USA in March and I can use a different selection !!

This week at C4E the challenge is a sketch (as below). Well ............. this one really did make me think. The rectangle across the card got me stumped. In fact I ended up with a headache after making it !!!

I used a LOTV image and the papers are by Nitwits, border is a Martha Stewart deep punch and flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts. I just had to use my new purchase the spellbinder die; Circle of hearts. However having said that the  stamp I used to make the rectangle is VERY old and never used till now !!! Its PSX stamp of a definition of love, a  lovely stamp that will get used more I know !

Clean and simple .........

Yeah I know ................ its not often my cards are clean and simple !!! The more bling, glitter and bits the better !!! hehe !!! Well the challenge this week at C4E was clean and simple !! Not sure what stamp this is, its one I stamped up of my friends in the USA and never used .......... you know along with all those other things in the back of the cupboard I just HAD to have !!! Oh boy ....... its nearly Harrogate Paper show  I guess more stuff will be NEEDED and go in the cupboard too !!! I WILL BE GOOD ......... mmm .......... bit rash to promise that I think !!

Papers are from Nitwits, and image is coloured with promarkers, a bit of ribbon and the wording and voila !!! Mmm wish I could say it was that quick to make !!! It took me hours and hours to make this !!! My mind just wasn't on the job!!! But hey I got there in the end .......... I think !!! hehe !!! I made it the day my little girl flew to the USA to see her dad all by herself ........... still she got there and back all safe and had a great time !!!

Baby Isabella is doing great !!! Sleeping lots and giving lots of gummy kisses and cuddles !!!

This week at Crafts 4 Eternity your challenge is to feature a quote. I love this stamp !!! Its a quote from Eleanor Roosevelt and the words are so lovely.

I used some heart lace that I bought two years ago and never used !!! I just dint want to cut it !!! I know........... but when its gone I cant get any more !!! Paper is a Nitwit one, I had to add bling and flowers !!! I was after a clean simple card so the words were the focus. I have used this stamp a few times before its one of fav's !!

So one more day left of the year !!! Just where did it go ???? Hope you all have a wonderful New Years Eve, don't drink too much !!! hehe !!! Well .............. Happy New Year to you all !!!

Oops ............

Oh no the tree !!!! I just love this image its from Digi Doodles and they are sponsoring the challenge this week at Crafts 4 Eternity !!! The challenge this week is to use dry or heat embossing ! I just hope that with three dogs and another visiting 3 days a week our tree stays upright !!!!

I made a very simple card this week so that the image was the focus of the card, the dry embossing is the top half of the card, snowflakes. To be honest this took me hours !!! My mojo just isn't working so I didn't get the other card I wanted to make today done !! Ah well tomorrow is another day !!!

So tomorrow is Xmas Eve !!! How exciting !!! All the men will be rushing around the towns finding presents us ladies really don't need/want cos they hadn't listened to us all year round when we dropped hints !!! The children will all be awake too late with their excitement and us parents end up staying up later than we would wish to get those presents under the tree !! Still there is always Santa's snifter to down and his mince pie to eat !!!

No she hasn't got the blues just the card is in blues !!!! hehe !!!

I was sent this amazing Magnolia image by a friend and just had to colour her in as soon as I received it !!! She is so lovely !!

This week at Crafts 4 Eternity our challenge is to use WIRE, BEADS and a METAL CHARM .......

Mmm I had no wire to make any shapes with or anything so I had to settle with the wire buttefly. (Not that butterflies are around in the snow !!!) The beads are wired too but not that you can tell, all around the flowers. And my charm well where to put it ........... in the end I settled for hanging it off my snowflake Xmas dec !!! it worked and I was suprised !!! This card too me all afternoon to make as I just couldn't get a result I was happy with. funny how some take an hour and others days !!! The trees I have had ages, I glittered them up and they have been in and out the cupboard ....... but today I edged them with blue ink and voila !!

Let the Angels play

This weeks challenge at Crafts 4 Eternity is a colour challenge of red, green and beige. Well it certainly challenged me !! The beige bit anyways !!! I eventually found the paper from the Christmas Past Cd which has all three colours on !!! Brill !!!

The image is a LOTV one and I used a Go-Kreate die cutting it down for the greeting to peek out from the ribbon !!! I was so pleased when I found the glittery holly leaves !! I have loads of these in my things in the USA but couldn't find any here till I walked into The Range the other day !!! Whoop whoop !!! They really add another dimension ! No I am on a ribbon hunt as that was the last of my wide green ribbon ............. bought in Walmart last Christmas ........... (big sigh) Ah well I guess ebay here I come !!!

Hi there !!!! This week over at C4E the challenge is to follow the sketch below !! We are sponsored this week by Ladybird Crafts Ink !!!!

I used a LOTV image and sentiment for this card. I actually made it straight after my Uncles card hence the colour combo !!! I was just so in the groove with the colours and paper !!! The flowers are the circles on the sketch ........ added to them is a Mariannes die cut heart and Dohickey tag !!! I inked up all the edges of the flowers and tag to go with the colour scheme. Hehe !!! I had everything out of the cupboards looking for my doilies tho !!! What a mess I made !!! Still its all put away now !!

My cousin has an anniversary in Jan so I reckon this will do for that occasion !!! Ooh I love being ahead !!! It wont last for long tho when the baby is here !!! hehe !!!

Christmas Decoration

Oh boy !!! I didn't read this challenge right and made a card first !!! Thankfully I read it correctly in time !!! The challenge this week at C4E is to make a Christmas Decoration, no cards !!! Mmm ........ I had to think !!!

Anyway I made a tree dec, a beaded snowflake, added a metal snowflake at the bottom and used silver ribbon to hang it with !!!

Hi there, well first let me apologise for the pic !! It was so bright and sunny when I took it !! (I know I shouldn't be complaining at the sun shining!!!) I used a card that had been sent to my daughter. The paper was a free one of the internet from free digital scrapbooking. I added stars and glittered up the smaller printed stars and dots to add pazzaz !!! Its a simple card today but I love them just as much as the fussy ones !!

Well best go as I quickly popped on while my other half was getting his grandaughter up. (We are baby sitting today !!! Getting some practise in !!! Hehe !!)
