Best wishes

I thought I would share this card I made for the lady who
looks after my youngest at Pre-school.
She leaves today and Isabella is so upset bless her!!
Isabella has been going since she was two and has made a real
attachment to Susan, who is wonderful with her.

So I thought to show my appreciation for everything she has done
I would make her one of my cards .............

The flowers are the Botanical Rose, papers and sentiment all
from Heartfelt Creations.

Hope she likes it!!

If you read this Susan, thank you for everything
we really appreciate how you have looked after Isabella!

Happy Birthday !!

Thought I'd share this card today that
I made my cousin for her birthday!

I made the card using Spellbinders Heirloom rectangle die.
And then cut rectangles of white card, inking the edges
in the same colour as the flowers for the larger rectangle.
Stamp the sentiment onto the smaller piece and colour.
The flowers and leaves are Botanical Blooms are from
Heartfelt Creations as is the sentiment.

I glittered the flowers but after taking the photo
I decided to add stamens to the flowers so it didn't quite
look like this when I gave it to her !!

I am loving making these flowers!

Have a great day!

Happy times together

The postie dropped my new Create a Card dies through the letter box.....
I headed straight out to craft with them!!! lol no messing!!
This is what I came up with for the Daisy Dreams die!

Honest, they cut so well and this was so quick to make!!
I figured this die didn't have to be used one way or another, and
you know I like to make white cards lol!! So I decided
to create a tent fold card and have the circle offset to the right.

To make the card I used the following:
Leaf 2 die
Daisy Dreams Create a Card die

Pearls and flowers from my stash.
Leaves are inked with Peeled Paint Distress ink.

Emboss Resist Flowers

Thought I'd just do a quick tutorial on how I used the emboss
resist technique to create flowers !!

For these flowers I used the following from Heartfelt Creations:
Arianna Blooms Die (for the stamens)

Other items I used: Clear emboss ink, White embossing powder, white card

Now to make the flowers!!!
First of all stamp the flowers and leaves onto 160gsm card and
heat emboss with the white embossing powder and die cut.

Using the Rose Coral Chalk colour the centres of the flowers.
Lay the colour down heavier in the centres.

Turn the flower over and gently spray with water.
(I usually do this away from the table, holding the flower in my
fingers! but to take a pic I did it like this)

Using a small shaping tool randomly dot over the petals to
break the fibres of the card down.

Now turn the flower over.
Take a petal and pleat it together to create a distressed look.
Sort of pinching it .........

Leave the flower to dry, it doesn't take long!
Now turn the flower to the back and in the base
of the petal roll a medium balled tool to create depth.

Turn the flower over and roll the tool around the centre so the leaves
come up and create shape for the flower.

Now the leaves........
Stamp, emboss and die cut the same way as the flowers.
Using the Olive pastel chalk colour the leaf centres,

Turn the leaf over and shape.

Glitter the flowers petals
I used Stickles glitter glue here  (Star dust)

Now you could leave them like this if you wanted.

Or .................
I die cut the centres from the Arianna Blooms and adhered them
with a pearl to the flower centres

Or ..........
Another option I used was to put beads into the flower centres

There are many other options you could use!
Have fun making flowers!!!
Here is a card I made using them !!

Happy Crafting and thanks for checking this out !!

A Daughter is ......

I made this card for Caitlyn for her Birthday.
She loves looking to see what I have made when she
comes in from school so I thought she would be disappointed
if I didn't make her a card this year with flowers on !!

I LOVE these flowers! I used three Heartfelt Creations collections
to make these. The Leaves are from the Birds and Blooms Collection,
The stamens are from the Arianna Blooms and the flowers are the Botanical Roses
from the Butterfly Medley Collection !

The paper is a card front from the Romantique Garden collection,
the sentiment is a very very old stamp I had sat in a box
I haven't looked in for too many years ............ !!

I used ColorBox chalks, Harvest and Berrylicious on the flowers,
Oh I am in love with the chalks !
They are so easy to apply and so vibrant !
I am certainly trying to get more colours of these chalks!!

Well I really hope Caitlyn likes this .............

Quick Valentines Card

I have been having a tidy up of my craft things.......
I almost got rid of a whole load of old embossing folders!
Well thankfully I didn't!!! But used one instead!
And I got out my box of stamps I haven't touched in oohh I daren't say !! lol!
The sentiment I found in it fitted perfectly inside the die I wanted to use!!

This card really is a quick card and I know Caitlyn will say to me
Mum, thats not your type of card again when she sees it!!

I embossed a Cuttlebug embossing folder Heart Blocks onto Kraft Card,
cut it down to the embossed area and then cut a tent fold
card 1/4" larger than the embossed card and inked the edges of both.
And adhered the embossed piece to the card with 3D foam pads.

I used Heartfelt Creations Cut Mat Create 1B die set for the arrow,
and their Timeless Amour die set for the heart.
I inked around the arrow and adhered both the heart and arrow
to the card with 3D foam pads. The sentiment I don't know
where it came from now its a clear stamp on a sheet with others and no packet!!

Have a great day and happy crafting !
